I'm just saying, Scoland shouldn't be allowed to keep the Queen because she has all the fire power. - They should just shut up and focus on unifying the nation.

What "fire power" does the Queen have? And how would Scotland leaving an deciding to keep the Queen be that different than Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Jamaica, etc.

Ignoring the arbitrary denotion of merit for the United Kingdom, if you have to ask, you probably don't grok nationalism all that much. Ireland meets most of those requirements, but I've never felt independence was a mistake.

Well, we are taught in history classes about centuries of discrimination and incompetence, so that tends to bias the mind a little. I'm not sure that teaching future Scottish generations about the evils of Margaret Thatcher would have the same effect.
