You know what's funny? When this episode was selected, my reaction was: "Meh."

I'd forgotten how much I liked this episode and am glad I enjoyed it again so much! I think we can put this one to bed until CoveTom shows up. Good Night, Good Sir.

I know this might be controversial, but we haven't really done an Enterprise episode yet. So lets start with an easy one.

"Shuttlepod One"

To be fair, I have chosen once before, it happens infrequently, but that's just because the world is out to get me! Strangely enough, the only times it's happened for yours truly have been when there was a marathon posting for it. (The other time I won the random.org was after Vanyel and I had powered through Best of Both Worlds)

LeadHead, you've pretty much read my mind! The first and for now the last time I got to choose an episode, I had a good mind to pick an Enterprise one, but chickened out at the last minute and went the safe way with a TOS classic. So I'm glad you're giving us the opportunity to finally do an ENT episode.

Having discovered by way of his performance in Quantum Leap that Scott Bakula is actually a fine actor, I've come to appreciate Enterprise in a new way. I've been rewatching it lately and, even if it has its major downsides, it wasn't all bad. So, good choice there!

Was the line-by-line thread for "Similitude" from before CoveTom made it an "official" activity. I know it got started and then was left in limbo. Then it was only finished during a long hiatus between "official" line-by-line threads.

I can clear that up, cooleddie74 started a "Broken Bow" Line by line a long time ago, it stopped being posted on regularly, me and ChristopherPike finished it out, then we decided to do a new one, ChristopherPike and I started "Similitude" it suffered from the same issue, then I saved it for a rainy day, so we finished it while we had a lull between new eps.

Actually, it's time we did a little bit of Enterprise, it had some great episodes, and we've done 4 eps of both DS9 and Voyager, even a TAS.

btw, after calculating up our record breaking time for this one, I decided to see what our times have been overall. I'll post them later.

Me personally? I'm one of those dreaded Enterprise haters. But I'm a team player, so we'll roll with it.
