Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to star in Deadpool III (2024)

Do we really have to have the "colours photograph differently with movie cameras than they do on the one on your phone, and that also on-set lighting and DoPs are things that exist for a reason" talk *every* time this happens?

Not to mention every seen will be graded in a computer.

Funnily enough, I was looking at some photos people took of 'Doctor Who' being shot today and the TARDIS is more green than blue in real life.

It probably won't happen with all the Fox X-men cameos planned, but I'd like to see Deadpool see Cyclops and be like "Oh yea, your kid came from the future and I got this watch." and then Scott yell "Hey Rachel! Get in here!"

Lots of set photos now

A wrecked 20th century Fox logo?

Maybe i'm the minority but after a certain point the colorful costumes really looked goofy and are a big part of the reason why superhero comics were considered ridiculous by most adults. It still looks goofy in this still but for a Deadpool movie it's ok because i fully expect Deadpool to mock him endlessly over it

All that Spider-man movie money would seem to indicate adults can accept those colorful costumes just fine.

I don't know, i think one has to differentiate. Spiderman always had the iconic red and blue costume ( with the Black one as a distant second) and it is part of his character, just the same as with Captain America's flag inspired costume. In the movies that people have seen he always had civilian clothes or at best the X-Men black leather costume, he never wore his more outlandish costumes from the comics.

People are not used to it with him as he is a far more gritty character and having such bold colored costumes wouldn't work for him in the movies, at least in my opinion.

Maybe because I'm steeped enough in the comics and cartoons and everything but his costume doesn't even look "off" or funny to me.

I love it, but I've always preferred the more colorful costumes in the shows and movies. I think the MCU movies, which have always stuck fairly close to the comics costumes, and Aquman, which went full on orange and green at the end, prove that there are plenty of people who aren't bothered by them.
