Wow, fantastic casting. I love Amy Madigan and Steve Buscemi, of course, but what really stands out to me are Devery Jacobs, Tantoo Cardinal, and Joel Montgrand. I love seeing Native American representation in a major show such as this one. Coincidentally, Jacobs and Cardinal were both in Echo together, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Indian actors will be in some way connected to Albert Hosteen. I think this means we will also see them following up on the idea of the aliens being part of the ancient aliens idea. We also know the government encrypted lots of it's documents on aliens with the Navajo language.

I wonder if we will see Skinner on the show. Though it is possible he was killed in the previous reboot, seeing as how that all ended.

I don’t really follow this kind of current affairs much. But I feel like talk about war, a new pandemic, and aliens might just be something created to distract people from Trump’s Epstein situation. Do aliens exist? I think they probably do. But I don’t think the U.S. government knows anything about it. It just feels like a conspiracy theory. However, considering what has come out in the Epstein documents, it seems like all conspiracy theories could end up being true.

That would depend on if this a is a from scratch reboot or a continuation of the original, which as far as I know we still don't know yet.

I am not sure aliens exist in real life but we do know aliens exist in the X-Files universe. I do feel like this show is going to be a continuation. That is one of the reasons their is talk about bringing Anderson back. I am curious though if the reboot from a few years ago would count.

Gillian Anderson coming back doesn't mean anything, there are plenty of from scratch reboots that bring back legacy actors, like Richard Hatch in both Battlestar Galacticas, Dame Judi Dench in the Bond movies, Larry Minetti and Roger E. Mosley in Magnum PI, and Ed Asner in Hawaii 5-0. I especially loved how the brought back Ed Asner for the new Hawaii 5-0, it was a new storyline, but they used clips from his appearance in the original as flashbacks.

The thing is I think I heard someone say it was going to be in the same universe. Just can't recall where. Plus he seems to be making the show around new characters instead of just recasting Mulder and Scully. Though I guess they will have a similar Mulder an Scully dynamic.
