After all the rumours of Ncuti being replaced... It's finally confirmed. And it is a female who will replace him.
Sophie Ellis Baxter will be taking over from Ncuti Gatwa at Eurovision
Hopefully Ncuti's just a little under the weather or it's a scheduling conflict rather than anything serious.

So apparently, the Mirror's reporting that Doctor Who is, in fact, not dead, likely heading on one year hiatus, but will come back in 2027, with or without Disney money.

I've no doubt that the BBC won't just let the series die but I'll need more than a totally unsubstantiated story from a garbage tabloid before I relax.
There will be a special episode of Unleashed celebrating 20 years of New Who which will air in June. No Eccleston unsurprisingly, but no Smith or Capaldi either. I know they don't want to return in an acting capacity but it wouldn't kill them do do a quick interview.

It's going to be interesting hear how the Rani rights situation got sorted out. Big Finish had to stop using the character after the Bakers had both died as they hadn't left the rights to anyone.
To be more precise the person responsible the accurate leaks said it was a woman who was at the BAFTAs who'd been in the series before. I could definitely see Russell doing it for the free publicity but she's not the only possibility. Felicity Jones was also there, for one.
Was Olivia Colman there?

What doesn't make sense is, why a radical blogger butthead is taking one seat of those.
My expectation is that the Rani(s) are playing him and will make him (or try to) the vessel for the Master. We still have one tooth encased Master unaccounted for and he would be a much better fit for this trio.

Well, looks like it's time for me toIt just feels like the sort of thing that whoever leaked this stuff intentionally included specifically to wind the fans up and get them thinking That Character is indeed showing up when in fact they're not coming at all. Strictly IMO, go ahead, bookmark this, I'll own it if I'm wrong.
Well, maybe I'll retcon my claim after the fact to line up with whatever actually happens. Haven't decided on that yet.

This is not from any leaks so pure speculation but I think they'll need a human to make the wishes for them.
Once again pure speculation but I think it's going to be revealed that the events of 'Wild Blue Yonder' caused the "real" universe to start to merge with the Land of Fiction, which will be the Underverse named in the episode descriptions.
This will explain all the weird shit that's happened over the past two series up to and including the previously mythical bi-regeneration becoming real and the Doctor will sacrifice himself separating the two universes again.
