I can see how that could be confusing.
I just can't with RTD. To me that was the absolute worst era of Doctor Who. I know it brought in new fans and relit the franchise, but I just can't. I would say Silence in the Library is probably the only thing in the RTD era that I can stomach.
Damn. And I thought I was critical of the Davies era!

David Tennant reportedly told fans at Fan Expo Boston that the public set photos of his return “aren’t even close to the whole story.” He and Catherine Tate filmed with “many other people” on a closed set.
Man, I still can't quite believe we're getting an RTD-sized anniversary celebration by the man himself!

Here's the full quote Tennant said at Fan Expo Boston:
“What I think is interesting about the fact that Catherine Tate and me may have been filming, you see, because we are slightingly unfortunate (or fortunate) in that we were filming some scenes that were in the public so it had to be admitted that we were in it. So most of what’s been filmed with other people has all been inside. So, there is lots more coming than people think, which is very exciting. And as far as I know, no-one has quite figured out yet what Catherine and I are doing there. I think there is a lot of theory, a lot of speculation, but I’m very excited for people to see the tiny little cog we are in Russell’s great machine.”
I'm holding out hope for Capaldi. Been revisiting his run lately and it's really grown on me.
