Spoilers Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

(Lucasfilm used to have that exact job. I wanted to apply for it back in.. about 2004. I doubt my Star Wars and Indy was up to snuff though.)
They still have that job, the Lucasfilm Storygroup oversees all of the content to try to keep it all as consistent as possible, the members are Matt Martin, Pablo Hidalgo, and Emily Shkoukani. They're included in the credits of all of the comics.
 
Even Moffat had other people writing episodes.
And in 26 years of classic Who it managed fine without a One Man One Vision setup.

Gentle reminder that of the 8 episodes in Ncuti's second season, RTD wrote four of them. The Well was co-written with Sharma Angel-Walfall. Pete McTighe wrote Lucky Day, Inua Ellams wrote The Story & the Engine, and Juno Dawson wrote The Interstellar Song Contest.

Yes he wrote 6/8 episodes in the first Ncuti season, but there were still two episodes written by others.

And I'm sorry Classic Who never had a one man one vision set up? So we don't have a Hinchcliffe era, or a JNT era or...
