It's the year 2396 and as tensions with the Klingons increased, the Romulans and Klingons continued to battle it out along their borders, with neither side gaining an advantage. The Federation are still working close but many believed it would not be long until the Federation were brought in to the Klingon-Romulan war against the Klingons.
Located on the edge of Federation space, Sabu is the only outlying colony near the Klingon border and located on the second planet within the Sabu System (Sabu II). Originally, a planet of much interest due to its many archaeological discoveries including the Jroiso Temple and ruins, and the recent discovery of Sigma City, which is now home to the Federation Colony Sabu.

The Vulcans and Andorians are still skirmishing often, and the other newer species are creeping up to start trouble. The Telerites are showing their teeth, and the Klingons are continuing to harass Starfleet's exploration efforts. Admiral Garner and Starfleet have agreed that it is time to spread out. A new fleet has been seeded in the Vulcan Sector. The fleet is commanded by Rear Admiral Sam Davis. His flag ship the Yorktown class Missouri, registry number ND-19, represents a new Federation Strength.

The head of the new Bravo Fleet NXD is comprised of Hyperion Station commanded by Commodore James Olend. James and his station are responsible for helping to insure peace with in the Vulcan sector as well as lead the fleet's research and development unit. His station is surrounded by multiple space dock construction faculties. Two of which were donated to Star Fleets ship construction effort by the Vulcans. Along with Commodore Olend; Commodore Lucas Robinson and his ship serve as the long arm of the law for the Vulcan Sector. They are also tasked with maintaining peaceful relations with the Andorian's and working to avoid any future conflicts between Earths two strongest allies, the Vulcan's and the Andorian's.

With all this going on in the galaxy... how can you really RESIST joining the front line of the new Federation? The borders of the Federation has been created and we need help with her defense and with the exploration intiative that the NXD has created. Space... The Final Frontier....

Earth faces its biggest threat since the Xinidi super weapon. The
Romulan Star Empire has declared war and Earths attempts to form a
peaceful Coalition of Planets have taken a backwards step. Starfleet
must mount their defence against their attackers; losses have already
been taken on both sides. Romulan operatives and Nausicaan mecenaries
are attacking key Starfleet systems such as New Darwin Colony and
Forrest Outpost.

The First Era is a Star Trek writing / play-by-email role playing game
set in the days of the legendary Enterprise NX-01, Captain Jonathan
Archer and Cmdr Charles 'Trip' Tucker. We have a number of postings
available for new crew members, both officer positions and enlisted
roles. We've been around for over six years!

The Enterprise era in the Star Trek timeline represents a gritty, more
challenging period, as Humans make their first forrays in space
exploration; encoutering new alien civilisations and the wonders and
dangers that come with it.

If you think you might be interested in joining a starship we have
three games available. The NX-04 Challenger, NX-05 Yorktown and NX-06
Meridian. Or if you want to experience life on a planet on the edge of
Coalition space, 25 light years from Earth, touch down on New Darwin
Colony. Alternativly, you could dock with a Starfleet starbase
supporting the fleet in deep space from the Delta Pyxidis system.

We are in the middle of a fleet plot playing out aspects of the

I like this ship! It's exciting!

As exploration of the galaxy resumed following the Dominion War, storm clouds gathered at home. While new friendships were being formed, old rivalries sparked anew. Then they revealed themselves. Like a thief in the night they came from the darkness of space and struck against our homeworld. Hundreds of ships opened up their brutal onslaught ripping into out planet’s surface without regard for their targets. Civilian, military, all of them were treated the same by the mysterious Vaudwaar Coalition. In the span of one evening they had viciously damaged the homeworlds of the Federation, the Klingons, and the splintered Romulans. Billions were murdered before the enemy could be forced back into their underspace and left for parts unknown.

What was intended to kill, however, was the birth of a brave new galaxy. When the enemy attacked they wanted to drive wedges between the men and women of the galaxy, instead they united them. Old infighting between the Milky Way’s greatest powers came to an abrupt close and brought them together into a new unity built on mutual cooperation and trust. This was the birth of a new Federation made up of one time enemies that were now friends. Leading the continued exploration of the galaxy was the new combined Starfleet made up of ships from all three empires making up the Galactic Federation of Planets. Serving as the flagship of the new Starfleet is the USS Enterprise NX-1701-G.

But the Vaadwaur are still out there lurking in the mists waiting for the perfect chance to strike. Because of this the new Federation has sent probes deep into the far reaches of space to find this new and brutal enemy. Leading the charge is the first of the next generation of ship: the Federation Starship USS Pegasus - a ship made up of crews from the Federation, Klingon, and Romulan empires. First of her class the Pegasus will continue the voyages we have begun and journey out into the undiscovered country to further the Federation and protect it no matter the cost.
