Well, this is certainly to loss. A very passionate actor who brought his charm to Khan Noonien Singh that Marla McGivers fell so hard for. I'm thankful that Star Trek II featured this villain again. No trek villain has made that kind of impact since.

You know after hearing about it, I stuck in Trek 2. I have not seen it since I got the large LCD. Man he was a great villian! On a side note My wife got me Mortal Kombat Vs DC. There is a scene in it where the Joker yells Khan!! Funny as hell and also a tribute. To think that a new video game would have a line like that in it from a movie 26 yr old movie shows something about the movie and the scene! Being 31 I wonder sometimes if kids understand things like that and stuff on family guy

I was very sad when I read this. Even though he had his back problems, he was still a very healthy man in his old age. RIP, Ricardo.
Naturally, I will watch The Wrath of Khan in honour of this legendary actor. And The Naked Gun.

I will miss Ricardo Montal-KHAN.
He was a great character actor. Fine Corinthian (A place not known for cattle raising -- which is where leather comes from) leather will never be the same.

Sr. Montalban, you will be missed. Everything he did was gold. Even in the silly and inane (Naked Gun/Fantasy Island) he always gave a memorable performance.

RIP.I'm still upset that he wasn't even in the running for Best Supporting Actor that year...it was truly a great performance.

As you can see from his obit, he founded "Nosotros", an organization that helped improve the image of Latinos in the film and television industry. He always took his roles seriously, yet was also able to laugh at himself. Adios, patron, en paz dormese.
