That's funny, I saw it mentioned.

Just reread the story. It's been updated, it's longer and now mentions his villainous turns in ST, TWOK, and in one of the Naked Gun flicks. I jumped the gun a bit! In his honor, I changed my avatar to Montalban as Khan in TWOK. -- RR

I was thinking the exact same thing when my friend told me about his passing...I thought he was in okay health, he did some voice work on a Family Guy episode pretty recently.

RIP and thanks for being one of the most iconic villains in Trek history.

I'm saddened to hear this news. I saw a program last night about the history of MGM, and he was featured in one of the segments.

Sadly, I think that the next few years will be very sad for Trek. Most of it's best veteran actors are up there in age.
