Yet every time I'm accused of lying I come back with proof or evidence, and after himming and hawing for a while, you guys just shrug it off

I think 10 year hiatus is also unrealistic but I could see it going away for 4 to 5 years in terms of the movies. I think the tv shows don't have anything to worry about and actually see even more of them during a year.

Yes, because not all evidence is created equal. And, this rumor is just that-a rumor. So, when there is a primary source of evidence I'll give it more credence.

Until then, I give it very little weight.

Gone are the days when movies were seen as relatively impartial. Sci-fi franchises and I suppose movies in general, are the latest front in the ongoing Culture War. People have become polarised and everything is black and white. You can no longer have disagreements without people slinging accusations of 'SJW's' and 'Bigots' and dehumanising one another. Neither side is listening to the other and everyone has forgotten that these are just movies. Sadly it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

TLJ revived my faith after TFA, and I really enjoyed Rogue One, but it's back to JJ to finish it off - I'm hardly optimistic.

Maybe it's best to stick to TV in future.

Maybe. But at the moment there’s little there to truly suggest that Star Wars is done on the big screen. Feige is still producing a film. Despite what some suggest, Johnson is still working on his movies. Until we get real news, there’s nothing to suggest otherwise.

There’s a lot of things this guy has claimed that have been questioned that we’ll likely never get answers to. Whadda ya gonna do?

Well we are less than five years away from the Bell Riots, which are suppose to be a major turning point in how society looks at itself in America. We don't have Sanctuary Districts, yet. However we have Sanctuary Cities (such as San Francisco), most of which don't care for the current President's policies.

If that’s true, fantastic! He was amazing in Solo. Totally captured the character. Still a rumor until it’s on a reliable site.

Whilst I'm tempted to agree with you, let's wait and see what The Mandalorian is like.

    I have hopes...

They’ve released four movies, three of which have went over a billion dollars. Only in Bizarro world is that a “sorry” state.

Feeling the movies are not going in the direction someone wants is one thing. Being in denial that they are successful is just silly.

God, I feel like a broken record.

State of the world right now. We’re more attached to what we feel than cold hard facts.
