'Return to Grace' Line by Line

I'm going to borrow a wonderful idea from the 'Movies' and 'Ent' forum and do a line by line reading of a great DS9 episode.
I have chosen one of my favorite Dukat episodes, the excellent 'Return to Grace'. Great story and great dialogue (or should I say monologues)

I'll kick off with:

Kira Neryrs: "Is all this really necessary?"

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Bashir: The Klingon invasion has all but destroyed the Cardassian health system. They're suffering outbreaks of all kinds of diseases and in epidemic proportions. Besides, you've only got twelve more inoculations to go.

(Three cheers for line-by-line threads. I'll make commodore in no time!)

 

[Thor Damar]

Kira: Twelve?

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Bashir: Sorry, but if you want to go to the conference...

 

[Thor Damar]

Kira: I don't want to go. I'm no diplomat. Going to some Cardassian outpost to share Bajoran intelligence about the Klingons isn't exactly the kind of thing I'm good at. I'm not even sure why I even agreed to go.

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Bashir: You agreed to go because it was a personal request from the First Minister of Bajor.

 

[Thor Damar]

Kira: It was a personal request all right. Shakaar took me to his favorite restaurant in Jalanda City,poured me glass after glass of Spring Wine, then took me back to his home, and gave me a massage with Koliash spice oil.

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Bashir: Well, nice to know he's keeping in touch with his constituents.

 

[Thor Damar]

Kira: (still in full blown strop mode): It wasn't fair. At that point, I would have said yes to anything.

 

[Vulcan Princess]

(Kira gasps.)
Bashir: What is it?

 

[ZMistress]

Kira: I'm seeing spots.

 

[Thor Damar]

Bashir: Big, green, swirling ones?

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Kira: The size of Alvinian melons.

 

[Thor Damar]

Bashir: And the room is starting to spin?

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Kira: Yes.

 

[Thor Damar]

Bashir: (grins like a schoolboy): Good. Means the vaccine's working. Everything will settle down in a moment.

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Worf: Major, may I speak with you?

 

[Thor Damar]

Kira(deadpan): I'm not going anywhere.

 

[Vulcan Princess]

Bashir: (to Kira) This one might make you a little queasy. (to Worf) If you have something to say to the major, you'd better make it fast.

 

[Thor Damar]

Worf: (frowns at the doctor and takes a deep sigh): Major, the Federation has some concerns about your upcoming meeting with the Cardassians.
