Resolutions or Coda?

OK, this has probably been done hundreds of times beforehand but my sister and I are fighting over it. I personally prefer Coda and she adores Resolutions. While I do love the Angry Warrior tale I feel Coda was the better written and better acted episode.

I rather prefer Hunters, for some great 4th season emotional J/C interaction/flirtiness (IMHO), but Resolutions was ok, lol.

Oh come on, "Coda" was a bullshit episode which couldn't be saved by some Janeway/Chakotay moments. "Resolutions", however, was a good episode all on its own.

I like both stories and I like them for the J/C parts.

"Resolutions" features a declaration of love by Chakotay.

"Coda" on the other hand mostly plays out in Janeway's head and therefore becomes her declaration of love for him.

"Coda" has inspired a lot of fan fiction, I wrote a little addon discribing what happened on that sail boat in Lake George.

Is it bad if I say that I honestly loved The Fight.

Yes, it was a HORRIBLE episode. But . . . Compared to other Chakotay episodes with the exceptions of Manuevers and Shattered it was pretty good . . .

At least until the montage of the Chaotic Space aliens speaking to him through everyone's words. It was pretty OK.

And it was the episode that kind of got me going "Hey . . . Why aren't they together?" I was fourteen, I think . . . I was.

Coda was much better than resolutions, it had more emotion and different plots, instead of just stoping on the same planet.
And we got to see chuckles cry

I like them both,with a slight nod to "Resolutions" for the Woman Warrior speech. And the bathtub.

This was a tough one!! In the end I'd have to say Resolutions ONLY because... the thing about it not really happening not sure what was real in it.

Go back to Hell... COWARD! Janeway defeating death, Chak crying over her dead body... mouth to mouth... Mulgrews acting A+... The bit in the shuttle, very cute.

But Resolutions did have Janeway in the bathtub and she was wicked hot in the whole episode... ok well she always hot... Oh and not to mention my favorite J/C moment...
Janeway (in the tub): Chakotay are you there?
Chakotay (from in the house): No I left an hour ago!

I like "Resolutions" better but Coda" is OK, except for the end which is a bit dissapointing.

What I can see, "Resolutions" is an episode which is very popular among the J/C-ers, due to it's strong J/C storyline but I re-watched "Coda" last Sunday and realized how much J/C it's in that episode too.

That is a hard one to choose, I liked both episodes although I really enjoyed 'Shattered' as well. I like the way Kate and Robert play off each other and I thought it was an interesting way to look back on past episodes. However, I think Kathryn and Chakotay started really trusting each other after 'Resolutions'.
