Remember the first Star Trek episode you watched?

TOS - Tomorrow is Yesterday.

This was probably 1977, and I was either 8 or 9 years old. A friend and I kind of randomly came across it, and while we were confused because of the time travel element, we liked what we saw, and that was the start of many, many hours of watching Trek at his house.
Ha, I remember the first time I saw this episode. When the episode started I thought Star Trek had been preempted for some war movie and I was totally angry.

Sorry I meant the most recent episode thread . I had to shut down my computer due to thunderstorms. Before I could edit my mistake.

No. I do not remember the first episode I watched. Star Trek has literally always been a part of my life. I was born in 1971.

The first episode I remember watching is "I, Mudd". This was some time before 1976. I do know I had already been watching Star Trek at that point, though.

I'm pretty sure my Dad stuck on TOS one afternoon on TV and Operation: Annihilate! was on, and I was hooked. Who didn't love those scary-looking parasites as a kid? ;)

TNG was Suspicions when I saw Whoopi Goldberg in it, I was fascinated as I loved her so much. :D

First I must've watched would be "Encounter at Farpoint" upon its German TV premiere in 1990. But I wasn't interested yet. I remember being vaguely interested in TWOK when that was on TV the next year probably. The first conscious one - and what made me a fan - was "The Squire of Gothos", early 1992.

I think it was "The Trouble with Tribbles," all the way back in the original run of TOS. But the first one I definitely recall watching was "Spectre of the Gun," same era. Dad was a fan of the series, and occasionally I stuck my head into the room and watched a bit with him. I would have been about nine when "Spectre" aired, and something about the weird atmosphere stuck with me. When TOS came out in syndication a few years later, I started watching it in hopes of finding that episode again and seeing if I could figure out what was going on. By the time it came around in the rotation, I had watched most of the series, and was hopelessly hooked.

Don’t remember. It was before the animated series premiered because my little brother and I were super excited to watch that.

My very first Star Trek episode -- not just of TOS but of the entire franchise -- was TOS's "All Our Yesterdays." Poor Zarabeth! My first Star Trek movie was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. I got into it because I saw an episode of Movie Magic on the Discovery Channel that covered how the visual effects team created the humpback whale puppets.

I can't be for sure, but my dad had a VHS tape of the TOS episode "Metamorphosis," so I know it was one of the earliest.
