Remaster the Remaster TOS?

IIRC, at the time when the TOS remaster was being done, none of the original effects elements could be found. Since then, some good-quality shots of the Enterprise have been discovered, as shown in the "Roddenberry Vault" blu-ray.

They have to remaster it with the DiscoveryPrise.

Unless....they're admitting the DSC version isn't canon.

The canon is simply the body of work. That doesn't necessarily mean it's all cohesive and consistent without any contradictions.
