Frankie Adams (of the Expanse) as new Cara Dune or new character.

I don't care for Cara Dune, but Frankie Adams appearing as an elite unit of the New Republic forces would have made me watch that show alone. Too bad she's probably too young to play a former imperial, which is how I'd picture her character for some odd reason to replace Mayfield as the resident ex-imperial.

ETA: And I'm wrong. Frankie Adams's only 3 years young than Sabine Wren would be in the Ahsoka series, and Sabine's experience as a cadet alone makes her more of an ex-imperial more than Wedge at al.

Frankie Adams would be a great casting choice as would Cara Gee but still as a new character instead of a recast.

I was really looking forward to this show. Shame it seems to be DOA. Fingers crossed it can find it's wings again eventually.

Was hoping for much more Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), the 2 X-wing fighter guys from Mando 2.2 and "dreamcasting" Frankie Adams (of the Expanse) as new Cara Dune or new character.

We knew and indeed still know exactly bugger all about this show beyond it's title, that like 'Ahsoka' it would be interconnected with 'The Mandalorian', and that it's no longer in active development, and when it was they didn't really get that deep into it. Literally everything else is presumption and speculation.

I liked Mayfeld - he’s a great diamond-in-the-rough character, and one I’d hope to see more of, in SW media.

I still can't get over how Bill Burr (my favorite standup comedian) - who practically made a career out of roasting the shit out of SW - actually ended up appearing in it!
