Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

lol lol even thought hallmark and great american channel are both republican channels

they still have a bunch of great cheesy style holliday movies and also still have a bunch of great cheesy style non holliday movies
I'd argue that Hallmark is more middle of the road. I'd say GAC is more conservative. Remember, Candace Cameron ditched Hallmark because their material was getting too progressive for her.

lol yeah nowadays hallmark is more right down the middle like old school live action disney from the 80s and 90s and i guess tv sitcoms from the 90s and 2000s

which i guess kinda all started probley at least a year before dj tanner aka candace cameron left when hallmark started to change its tone in which most likley caused dj tanner to have meltdowns and its all because of some of the stuff hallmark started doing that probley drove dj tanner nuts

at least thats what i think

Don’t know what’s going on. Nothing has changed with by bank account but I keep getting calls from different branches wanting to be my personal banker. And some are calling from the other side of the state!

I can't find it now right now, but some fundie reacted to a Pure Flix ad by complaining about their woke feminist agenda and that he or she would be cancelling their subscription. Pure Flix! They're eating their own now.

Checking out Keychron keyboards. I've had the same keyboard since about 2005, so I'd like to try something new.

I keep having calls of electricity and phone companies trying to convince me to join their company because it's cheaper. Jokes on them because I have a low income contract that gives me the cheapest option possible automatically, fucking hustlers

Saw way too much economic stuff today. Need to find something to add to my reading that's like P.G. Wodehouse. Maybe I should start some Terry Pratchett after I finish Mansfield Park.

Found a 19 year old TV ad that was one of my favourites ... The Dancing Citroen

Can relax for a moment after doing some mowing. The green bin is pretty 85% full. Doesn't get emptied until Sunday week. Buggered now. Have to wait until the next sunny day to some other mowing I need to do.

Have you tried EF Benson's Mapp and Lucia novels? There's also "Diary of a Nobody" - Grossman and "Three Men in a Boat" - Jerome. "Three Men on the Bummel" is readable but not quite as good as "Boat"

I like Barry Pain who's one of those writers of whom no-one has heard but who used to be very popular. The "Eliza" books would probably appeal to anyone who liked "Diary of a Nobody". I haven't looked but Pain is well out of copyright so might be available on Project Gutenberg.

My mom and I had a weird incident a few weeks back. Before I get to the story you need to know that right before you get to our street there's another turn that takes you onto the other side of our block that's right before out street. So on this trip we were heading up the street, and suddenly we were at our street, we never passed the street before ours, and even the she had not been driving long enough to gotten to our street from the last point we were at before we got to our street. She never changed or anything like that, we just suddenly jumped from back down the street to right in front our street, but the whole thing left us both confused and disoriented that she had to drive all the way up to the next intersection then go into a store parking lot to do a you turn. We're not usually ones to really believe in this kind of thing, but it seriously felt like time itself just skipped forward, or like aliens or someone took us and returned at the wrong place. As far as we know we were didn't lose consciousness, and I don't think there's really any way we could have both lost consciousness and then woken up at the exact same second. I've even more less timed how long it takes to get from the last point I remember being at to our street, and there is no logical way we should have gotten to our street as quickly as we did. We're still really freaked out and confused by the whole thing.
