There's something that happened with one of the animal sanctuaries my mom and I both follow that kind of bugs us. Yesterday and on last year's Giving Tuesday the person who runs the sanctuary spent the whole day talking about how they're saving new animals because of people's donations, but they're arriving later that day, and there is no way a brand new rescue would be arriving that quickly. The things that are kind of hinky about all of this, is that before they come the animal would have had to go through quarantine, which I believe takes at least a month or two, and they were brought from Oregon from Oklahoma, which would take a lot longer than the few hours between when the money was raised, and they arrived. Does this seem kind of odd to anyone else?

Nope, they specifically said the money people were giving on Tuesday allowed them to save those horses. They called them Giving Tuesday saves, and said it only happened because of all the donations coming in.

Almost certainly... but consider the sheer resources involved in creating a fantasy of that scale. They'd probably just bribe the judges. That or settle with him, whichever was cheaper.

I know I’m late to this, but I’m so sorry. I do know how it feels. And it is pretty damned complicated emotionally. Be prepared for grief tsunamis. They crash when you least expect them.
Yeah this last week has been full of ups and downs. She passed on the 28th around 930 - 10am. Just has felt very unreal.
That's normal with grief. It is never a straight path.
