There are people who still don't believe Covid is real, so I'm thinking you're always going to have some people for whom scientific proof is insufficient, for whatever the subject may be.

Hell, there are people out there who believe the Earth is flat.

I Honest-to-Landru taught a second grader a few years back who was raised to believe the earth was flat. Her father was who I dealt with, more. It was a real challenge teaching her without confusing her or contradicting what she “knew”. She would be in 6th or 7th grade, now.
Wonder how it’s going for her in Earth Science?

Okay, question time on mainland trends… Is it a ‘thing’ now to drive around at night with either no headlights or with the covers/filters so dark that you can barely see them on?

Similarly, driving around with headlights on, but the rear lights completely dark?

Asking as it seems to be a trend out here on Oahu that’s increasing, so curious…. Guess I’m an Old F@rt, but it just screams dangerous and dumb to me.

Must be one of those things that everyone copies because it is happening here too in some cities.

There is also a safety aspect to this and people just seem so selfish about it when confronted

We've all had senior's moments like that,

I'm not a senior, I'm only in my 30s, and I do that kind of stuff all the time. For me it's mostly forgetting to push down the lever on the toaster oven, and forgetting to turn the microwave on. The worst is when you think you turned it on and it finished when you left the room, and you take a bite of your food and it's still cold or frozen.
