Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

put a trill into it (gender of your choice of course) and count their spots - i'd take a vulcan (those ears )
There are a few good ornithoid species out there. A cute hen would be most welcome UvU

But seriously, corner shelves and weird decorative objects might do the trick.

The Asylum (home of Top Gunner, The Day the Earth Stopped, Operation: Dunkirk and Planet Dune) has a new movie out called.... Attack on Titan. How are they getting away with this?

 The same way 30 odd different movies and TV shows have been called "The Awakening."

Universal forced them to change American Battleship. Warner forced them to change Age of the Hobbits. Maybe a Japanese company isn't going to care as much? This is beyond blatant.

I wasn't aware The Asylum faced any kind of legal challenges to its "mockbusters". As long as they use a different title and character names, I assumed they can pretty much do whatever they want.

And I'm fairly sure actual episode titles are not copyrightable. TNG, for example, got away with doing an episode called "The Schizoid Man", and raised not a peep from The Prisoner's people...

and as anyone who's read Yeats' "The Second Coming" will attest, there have been DOZENS of episodes of various shows which ripped off their titles right from that poem. :)

why is jim kirk doing ads for a benefits hotline?

The same reason any actor does ads like that: because their careers are over. They're washed up, unemployed and desperate.

Same reason you have dudes like Joe Namath hawking those cretin Medicare Advantage plans.
