I'd much, much, rather do something like that than deal with people. For last few months I've been trying to find a job mucking out horse stalls but none of the stables I've tried appear to be hiring.

We might eventually be getting our own chickens, after home improvement projects are out of the way and finances stabilize.

I would not want to have birds as pets, they require way to much cleaning for me to want to deal. I follow a sanctuary with a lot of birds, and they seem to do nothing but stirp down and clean all the cages and scrub all the aviaries.
At least with horses or dogs cleaning is quick and easy, most of the time you just pick up bit of poop once or twice a day and you're good. Occasionally you have to do a bit more of a deep clean of their areas, but to the extent that you seem to have to with birds.

A "bit" of poop? From horses? I used to muck out stalls when I was young (my friend was CRAZY about horses and loved to be around them) and there is nothing small about their poops. Nope!

Well yeah, they do take a lot of big poops, but I just meant that it and dog poop's a lot easier than deal with than bird poop.
