R.I.P. John Pinette

What?! Aw, man! I had just read about his upcoming show schedule the other day! He was a truly funny man. :(

Rest in peace, sir.

Aww. Such very sad news indeed. He always made me laugh.

A very funny and seemingly very sweet guy. Most folks seem to remember his Chinese restaurant bit more than anything else (or his role in the final episode of Seinfeld back in 1998), but his entire career was full of hilarious moments and entertaining material. Rest in peace. We loved ya.

I loved listening to him talk about doing "Hairspray" on Broadway.

The next time we go to our respective local Chinese restaurants let's take a moment to smile for John. He'd have wanted it that way.

Hubby and I watched his "Still Hungry" on Netflix last night. Now, while out shopping, I keep hearing his "Gitouttatheline" voice when people can't make up their minds.

Hubby and I both got a huge laugh out of the "why do I need the warranty?" story---sort of the modern day version of "Who's on First?"

Stupid me got him confused with Louie Anderson...then too, for many years I thought Tony Orlando, Wayne Newton and Robert Goulet’ were the same person...

I had the good fortune of seeing him perform live several times. He will continue to be remembered years from now through his various stand-up specials.

Sad that he's gone.
