Quick! 10 new Trek shows!!

For what it's worth, they were/are developing a Starfleet Academy series. It had writers and everything a couple of years ago. Not sure if it's gone the way of Nick Meyer's Ceti Alpha V or just been delayed or what. The last rumours were that it was set after Discovery season 3.

If they based it on the ST2009 academy vibe I'd be happy. Smallville/Buffy Trek. Saving the universe between classes.

Now, I know Alex Kurtzman's new Clarice on CBS has gotten a 36% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes (these critics must be haterz! HATERZ!) - but we should still support the show. For if Alex is able to forge a larger Thomas Harris Universe Experience (THUE, minus Hannibal Lecter per legalities), he will have less time to impose his formidable genius on Star Trek and the 23 proposed programmes (like such as Star Treck: Bébé's Kids)...

Points for the Bebe's Kids reference you got there. Not too many people here will get that. But otherwise...

I will support nothing affiliated with Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal Lector. I would rather Kurtzman is focused on Trek.

I think you want YouTube, not TrekBBS.

Clarice is another prequel to Star Trek. The series is set in 1993, so, eventually, it must have our heroic FBI agent stumble upon the Augments as they attempt to take over the world. Have faith.

Well, Star Trek was bound to cross a line for me and that would be it.

Clarice isn't the right vehicle, but it would be hilarious to have a hidden Star Trek series come up at some point. What if they toss in characters from Scorpion or Salvation or Instinct (all past Kurtzman shows) during some time-travel to the 2020s episode in any new series? Will we need a new forum? Will Memory Alpha go into panic mode to include this entire new series?

Didn't JJ Abrams say all his movies were the same universe? And then companies from Cloverfield and Lost showed up in the San Francisco cityscape in ST'09...

Bar Trek.

The Dominion war is over, Quark can relax.. or can he? A new rival is in town. An El-Aurian. He hates those.
And what's with the size her hat? How does she get through doors? A new war is brewing on Deep Terok Space Nine Nor!

I'll be back with the other 9, I just loved the name "Bar Trek".

Update to Deep Space Voyager The Next Generation
Added a couple of new crew member to the Enterprise, Hansen and Eddington and promoted Chakotay and Torres. It's the flag ship, it needs higher ranks!
Deep Space Voyager the Next Generation

An epic multi-POV, arc based series in the mode of Game of Thrones.

  • Deep Space Nine- Formerly an orbital Cardassian ore processing station, the Bajoran Provisional Government has turned it over to Starfleet to serve as the base of operations for the defense and exploration of the Bajor Sector and beyond. In addition to Starfleet and the Bajoran Militia, there is a large civilian population on the station that includes Bajorans, Starfleet dependents and other foreign nationals.
    • Commodore Benjamin Sisko- Starfleet Commander for the Bajoran Sector. Sisko is veteran of the Cardassian Wars. His wife, Jennifer and son, Jake live with him on DS9, but he has misgivings about them being so close to the Cardassian border.

    • Lt. Commander Tuvok- Starfleet Intelligence. Tuvok oversees various on ongoing SI operations in the sector. Some of which might be above Sisko's "pay grade”.

    • Commander Katherine Pulaski- Chief Medical Officer. A veteran officer with strong opinions, she's often a thorn in the side of Sisko and his unofficial conscience. She's also fond of needling Tuvok and has a low opinion of "spies”.

    • Lt. Commander Data- Chief Operations Officer. An android. Data oversees keeping the station running. Given its blend of Federation, Cardassian and Bajoran technology it is a task that keeps Data busy around the clock. Not needing sleep, he is well suited for the task. As an android wishing to become more "human" Tuvok finds him fascinating.

    • Colonel Kira Nerys- Bajoran Liaison Officer. Kira was a member of the Bajoran Resistance during the Cardassian Occupation. She is still wanted in the Cardassian Union for terrorism. She coordinates activities that involve Starfleet and the Bajoran Militia.

    • Constable Odo- Chief of Law Enforcement for the station. A shapeshifter of unknown origin, Odo was raised on the station by Bajorans. He is strongly attached to the station and sees it as his only home. While nominally in charge of civilian law enforcement, Sisko likes to use Odo for Starfleet related operations as well.

    • Quark- A Ferengi merchant who runs a casino on DS9's promenade. He is also heavily involved in various criminal activities in the sector. As such, he and Odo have an adversarial relationship. He’s also a prime source of information for Tuvok, for a price.

    • Garak- A Cardassian tailor who runs a shop on the promenade. He is the only Cardassian still on the station. His reasons for staying are currently a mystery. Though Tuvok certainly has a few ideas.

    • Dukat - A Gul in the Cardassian military. Dukat is the former Prefect of Bajor and presided over the transition from the Cardassian Union to the Bajoran Provisional Government. Currently he is the military commander for the Cardassian territory adjacent to the Bajor Sector. He would very much like to be Prefect of Bajor again.

  • The USS Enterprise- A Galaxy class vessel, the Enterprise is the newest and most advanced ship in Starfleet. Its primary mission is establishing diplomatic relations with the new worlds beyond Bajor. Its staff includes a large diplomatic team.
    • Captain Jean-Luc Picard- The ship's Commanding Officer. Picard is a man weary of war. The prospect of commanding a mission of exploration and diplomacy has kept him Starfleet. He sees a new war on the horizon and is making every effort to change course.

    • Commander Chakotay- The ship's Executive Officer. Chakotay's homeworld was on the frontlines of the Cardassian Wars and now lies in Cardassian territory. He's not happy being on a ship whose main objective is to "make nice" with the Cardassians.

    • Ambassador Deanna Troi- The sector's Chief Diplomatic Officer, she divides her time between DS9 and the Enterprise. As a civilian, she's not always greeted with open arms by Starfleet. Her goals are often at odds with Commodore Sisko's, the sector's military commander. Picard is more open minded and she prefers the Enterprise to DS9

    • Lt. B'Elanna Torres- The ship's half Klingon Chief Engineering Officer. She served with Chakotay in the Cardassian Wars and shares his views on making peace with them. [/I]

    • Lt. Commander Beverly Crusher - The ship's Chief Medical Officer. The widow of Jack Crusher, Picard's former XO and closest friend. Her son is in Starfleet and she worries about his future.

    • Lt. Commander Michael Eddington - The ship’s Chief of Security, like Torres and Chakotay, Eddington is veteran of the war and still suspicious of the Cardassians.

    • Lt. Annika Hansen - Operations officer. An orphan, Hansen was found alone on her parents’ science ship drifting through space. Her parents’ fate and the nature of their mission remains unknown. Raised by her Aunt, Hansen entered Starfleet Academy and excelled at computer science. She is at times plagued by voices in her head. Only Dr. Crusher is aware of this.

    • Ensign Ro Laren- The ship's Flight Control Officer. Born in a Bajoran refugee camp she's never been to Bajor before this assignment. She's at odds with native born Bajorans, who see the refugees as cowards who chose to flee rather than fight

  • The USS Defiant- A Defiant class light cruiser. Its primary mission is defense of the station and the Bajor system. It serves as the flagship for the commander of DS9.The Defiant is a warship, part of the legacy of the Cardassian Wars. Its crew is small and most are experienced combat officers.
    • Commander William T. Riker- The Defiant's Commanding Officer. Riker comes across as a genial sort, quick with a joke and a twinkle in his eye. He's also known to have an eye for the ladies. In a combat situation, he's all business. A clever commander with a trick or two up his sleeve.

    • Lt. Commander Elizabeth Shelby- The ship's Executive Officer. She's all business, all the time and isn't afraid to speak her mind if she thinks Riker (or anyone else) is wrong. She has high standards and if she had her way the crew would be drilling around the clock.

    • Lt. Worf- The ship's tactical officer. On a ship the size of the Defiant, tactical includes flight control. He respects Riker and admires Shelby.

    • EMH- Experimental Medical Hologram. A new technology currently being tested on the Defiant. It's inventor, Dr. Louis Zimmerman is on board overseeing the test. (or is he?)

    • Lt. Ezri Tigan- Medical Officer. Tigan is Combat Field Medic and provides backup for the EMH. An unjoined Trill, who's not on the candidate list, she lives life to the fullest.

    • Lt. Geordi La Forge- The ship's Chief Engineering Officer. Blinded in the Cardassian War, La Forge can interface with the ship's systems through his VISOR, a device that enables him to see. As such he feels and senses what the ship does. At times this seems to cut him off from his crewmates and he wonders if he is losing his humanity.

    • Ensign Harry Kim- Operations Officer. A rookie right out of the academy he's in awe of these "heroes”.

  • The USS Voyager- An Intrepid class scout ship. Its primary mission is science and exploration. Most of its crew are in the Science division and the rest is comprised of young officers, some just out of the Academy. Because of this, the ship has been nicknamed "The School Bus". Voyager spends most of its time away from the Bajor Sector in unexplored territory.
    • Commander Kathryn Janeway- The ship's Commanding Officer. Formerly in the Science Division, this is Janeway's first command. For her the thrill of the "hunt" is what drives her. She needs to know what's behind the next nebula and beyond the farthest star.

    • Lt. Commander Jadzia Dax- The ship's Executive Officer and Chief Science Officer. A joined Trill, Dax can call upon decades of experience from her previous hosts. Which is at odds with her youthful appearance. A close friend of Sisko in her previous host, he still calls her "The Old Man". A name that followed her to Voyager.

    • Chief Petty Officer Miles O'Brien- The ship's Chief Engineer. The real old man aboard the ship, he has a decade on most of the crew. A veteran of the Cardassian Wars, He's one of Janeway's trusted advisors and a father figure to the younger crewmen. (Just don't tell him that). His wife, Keiko, lives on DS9.

    • Lt. Julian Bashir- The ship's Chief Medical Officer. Young, inexperienced and on his first deep space mission, Bashir is out of his element and tries to cover it up with bravado. O'Brien has taken him under his wing.

    • Ensign Wesley Crusher- Operations Officer. A gifted young man, Crusher completed Starfleet Academy in record time. He's the youngest member of the crew and very aware of this, as such he is over eager to prove himself. His mother is the CMO on the Enterprise.

    • Lt. Tasha Yar- The Ship's Chief Security Officer. Growing up as an orphan on failed colony where every day was a fight for survival, Yar feels out of place on a ship full of scientists and overachievers.

    • Lt. Tom Paris- Flight Control Officer. Paris is on board the Voyager as a favor to Admiral Owen Paris, Janeway's former CO. Paris has been a disciplinary problem (and embarrassment to his father) in the past. Voyager is his "last chance”.

Another update
Deep Space Nine- Formerly an orbital Cardassian ore processing station, the Bajoran Provisional Government has turned it over to Starfleet to serve as the base of operations for the defense and exploration of the Bajor Sector and beyond. In addition to Starfleet and the Bajoran Militia, there is a large civilian population on the station that includes Bajorans, Starfleet dependents and other foreign nationals. Soon after Starfleet took over a stable wormhole was discovered in the Bajor system’s Denorios Asteroid Belt, the wormhole is home to the enigmatic nonlinear beings called The Prophets by the Bajorans. It also leads to the Delta and Gamma Quadrants. This has elevated Bajor’s strategic importance.

Commodore Benjamin Sisko- Starfleet Commander for the Bajoran Sector. Sisko is veteran of the Cardassian Wars. His wife, Jennifer died during the war and his son Jake lives with him on DS9, but he has misgivings about them being so close to the Cardassian border.

.

Others

  • Jake Sisko - The young son of Commodore Sisko
  • Nog - The son of Quark’s brother, Rom and Jake’s best friend
  • Rom - The brother of Quark and the father of Nog.
  • Kassidy Yates - A freighter captain and friend of Sisko.
  • Keiko O’Brien - The wife of Miles O’Brien
  • Alexander Rozhenko - The son of Worf.
The USS Voyager- An Intrepid class scout ship. Its primary mission is science and exploration. Most of its crew are in the Science division and the rest is comprised of young officers, some just out of the Academy. Because of this, the ship has been nicknamed "The School Bus". Voyager spends most of its time away from the Bajor Sector in unexplored territories on the other side of the Bajoran Wormhole[/I]
  • Neelix- A merchant trader from the Delta Quadrant who has offered his services as a "native guide"
  • Kes- Neelix's companion who has psychic abilities
  • Weyoun- A native of the Gamma Quadrant who claims to represent the mysterious Founders, leaders of the Dominion

It's hard to come up with 10 whole ideas distinct from all the others mentioned herein (a The West Wing-esque drama set in the early years of the Federation, Starfleet Academy, Fenris Rangers, etc.), so I'll just post the two that I found myself coming up with the most details for:

Star Trek: Nightingale - Focuses on the crew of the USS Nightingale, a Starfleet hospital ship, as they navigate the perils of the Dominion War and render aid wherever they can--to Starfleet, and to anyone else who needs it. It explores how doctors can find themselves struggling with their medical ethics in the face of war, as well as tensions between the medical staff, whose main priorities are saving lives and mitigating damage, and the regular Starfleet crew, many of whom feel guilty about serving on a non-combat vessel while their comrades are fighting and dying, or believe that their talents are being wasted on the Nightingale when they should be on the front lines.

Star Trek: Paradise - Set in the early 24th century, about a decade after The Undiscovered Country. Focuses on three diplomatic representatives, one each from the Federation and the Klingon and Romulan Empires, as they're sent to the backwater planet Nimbus III, which the three nations are once again (half-heartedly) attempting to develop into a "planet of galactic peace" as a means of thawing relations between the Romulans and the other two powers in the wake of the Khitomer Accords. A sort of mix between a political drama--with the three diplomats and other settlers navigating various crises both in Paradise City and beyond--and a Western, as Paradise City's population swells with the sudden influx of new settlers, including a large contingent of Klingon refugees still struggling after the Praxis explosion. The show would climax with the Tomed Incident, leading to the ultimate failure of Nimbus III as the Romulans once again cut themselves off from the rest of galactic society.

Star Trek:fast and loud
Klim Dokachin and a zany crew of Starfleet engineers take decommissioned vessels and turn them in to planet-hopping hotrods!

Dominion: A Star Trek Story

Set in the Gamma Quadrant ~4 years before the Dominion War, expands upon the lore of the Dominion, their typical interactions with others in the Gamma Quadrant and eventually covers their discovery of the wormhole and DS9 and their preparations for war... maybe the final episode ends right when Sisko discovers them on that planet?

I didn't read all of the previous entries, so sorry if these came up:

1. Star Trek: A Better Union

A prequel to Picard, this epic show explores the loving relationship between Laris, Zhaban, and Jean-Luc. After their meet-cute, Picard offers the Romulans a home . When friendship blossoms into love, will their relationship thrive despite the prejudices against Romulans, and their non-coupley lifestyle?
NOT a porn flic. Beautiful cinematography.

2. Star Trek: Emancipation
Set in the late 24th/ early 25th century, a group of young non-human aliens (and their human allies) are fighting for a truly inclusive, not human-dominated Federation. Their enemies: A ton of Evil (all-human) Admirals and Bureaucracy. Only Clancy is on our whacky heroes' side: "The f***, I'm in!"
Starring, amongst others: Kirayoshi O'Brien, Naomi Wildman, and the (now fully grown) Borg Baby.
Action-adventure, sometimes with a humorous twist.

3. Star Trek: Relativity
The adventures of the time-traveling cops through space and time, trying to fix what went wrong. No fiddling with timelines, including you, Captain Janeway!
Star Trek - Federation. Set in the 22nd century, a couple of decades after Enterprise. A West Wing style show that shows how the new Federation President and his staff deal with all the political shenanigans on Earth and between the different Federation planets and their Ambassadors.
You took the words right out of my mouth! Although I'd probably set it in a different timeline.

ETA:
5. Star Trek: Holos, Maquis, And Ex-Borg, Oh My!
A sitcom, set after VOY: Endgame. Adjustments and readjustments on Earth. Court martials, completely different communicators and holovids... Janeway gets bored to tears with her desk job and doesn't take well to having superiors. Chakotay joins a small forest. Kim gets promoted. Seven enters StarfleetAcademy. Hilarity ensues. Ends with them going back to space, and promptly getting lost again.

6. Star Trek: Garak. Elim Garak (Alt. title: A Simple Man)
Follows the life of Garak after returning to Cardassia Prime. Political drama. Alternatively: Gardening show.

7. Star Trek: The Tenth Rule
Follows the early life of young aspiring businesswoman Bjayzl and her rise to power, as well as that of Quark after DS9. Dangerous deals and expanding businesses, set in the brutal world of Freecloud.

8. Star Trek: Nothing But The Truth
The adventures of a group of idealistic journalists who travel to different worlds to investigate, interview, and inform the public about what's really going on. Starring: Jake Sisko as their boss (editor). Lou Grant in space, but better.Episodic, but with longer character arcs.

9. Something something courtroom (court ship? Not courtship) drama
First-rate actors, exquisite dialogue, suspense, intense drama, philosophical discussions

10. Star Trek: Prophets And Politics

Kira Nerys has a midlife crisis and dibs her feet in a religious career.

11. Star Trek: RomCom
Soap Opera, mainly starring Romulans.
