Puppies!

My parent's black lab had puppies last Monday and this weekend I got home and took about a billion pictures of them.

Seven in total, 3 yellow and 4 black. Now they just have to find homes for all the little squirts.

But even at only 5 days old they're still so damn cute and since it's Monday I figured everyone could use a little dose of cuteness:

It's crazy just how tiny they all are and to think that in a year they'll be 60 pounds of lab fury.

Has anyone else had the opportunity to visit or watch puppies as they get bigger?

Puppies?!?

You monstrous bastard!

(Note: see here before replying; you'll understand why I couldn't resist)

:adore: Those little Labs are so cute.

[looks at my own very old Lab] Oh why can't you be as sweet as those little ones? No, don't give me that look again...

Those are very cute puppies! My folks have two Labrador dogs. They're the best dogs in the world (one is 4 and the other one is 7 years old).

Yea, you can't have just one. They need someone/something to play with all the time. Helps to have a couple of acres for them to run in as well...

Yeah but one older dog and a puppy works a lot better than just two puppies that can gang up on you and steal all the tupperware when you're not looking.

Good thing we just bought a house with a huge backyard and a dog run.

Congrats on the house Blab :techman:

The only problem with that is if the older dog teaches the young one all sneaky little tricks...

Awww! These pictures awaken my inner Elmyra.

We also got our black lab when he was a young'un. His skin was way too big for him. It was as though you could lift up the skin and the actual dog was still sitting snugly on the ground.

Or if the puppy convinces the older learned dog that ripping that towel in half would be a ton of fun.
