Puppies!

AWWWWWW, they are adorable!!! Were they born on the 15th? Our labs (yellow and chocolate littermates) celebrated their first birthday on the 15th. It's hard to remember when they were that small. Our chocolate is 77lbs now and his brother is almost 70lbs.

I absolutely adore puppies (especially lab puppies), but I have to admit it's also nice when they're finally grown and trained and stop chewing everything in sight and actually come every time you call them (okay, almost every time.) ;)

Oh, and for those who might we wondering, yes, in fact we are certifiably insane to have gotten 2 littermates at the same time. It's a long story, but it worked for us. I'd never do it again, though. Staggering them is a much better way to have multiple pooches.

And now I need to leave work so I can go home and get me some labby lovin'. Nothin' in the world like it.

Thanks for sharing and giving us all a warm fuzzy moment. ;)

Mmmmm....yummy puppies!

It is recessive to black, and chocolate is the most recessive to both, but it's really popular because of perception. Yellows are just thought to be the typical family lab dog. The one you see camped out in front of a fire or the like.

Kinda like how people advertise having black angus when red angus would taste the exact same.

So Labs all taste the same regardless of color?

yellows probaly less fattening
have to admit they are pretty cute though

And with a little Tabasco, they go down just fine.

I got to visit the puppies again earlier this week and they're growing like weeds.

It's a bit crazy how at only three weeks old they're already getting teeth and they can waddle (though they still stumble around like drunks a bit).

Wow, they are adorable, all right. :) How did they like it outside? Did they try to explore, or stick close to their people?
