Some cops are just assholes, sorry but it's true. Maybe they don't start out that way but something about the uniform and the power can drive them to assholedom, like the One Ring did to Frodo. I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped in the street or in a park by cops asking me what I'm doing. I'm never even doing anything. So what if I stand still sometimes? How is that "acting suspicious"? One time I asked a cop what "acting suspicious" even means and he said it means whatever he wants it to mean and kind of clenched his fist. I don't talk back to them much after that because you can't tell which ones are the violent ones. Fortunately about 70% or more are good guys.

My mind was blown the first time I came to a five-way stop sign. It was in a city I was visiting, but there weren't any cars there at the time, so I stayed stopped and counted the number of streets several times just to be sure, even though there were passengers in the car. It was freaky.
I've never seen more, though.
That was a horrible post. Whether it's serious or a joke, it doesn't work either way.
Any country has its share of intelligent and idiot drivers. The trouble with traffic circles, especially those complex ones like the example shown earlier, is that some idiot will turn at the wrong time and end up going the wrong direction.
I didn't bookmark the site, but there's another weird traffic pattern concept in the pipeline. It adds an additional traffic light a half block before the actual intersection where left turn traffic crosses the oncoming traffic and proceeds down what would normally be the wrong side of the road for the rest of the block. The lights are timed to allow the turn traffic to cross while the cross street has the green and to make the final turn onto the cross street when the through traffic has the green (right on red for the cross street would have to be prohibited).

People don't joke about shit like this, mate. Have you even seen how much damage a moose can do? Well, when you have, then you can form and opinion.
Now it wasn't a big deal for me, cause a six ton Volvo it slightly more sturdier than a car. But entire families have died because they hit a moose. I used to live in Alaska, and yeah, you had to watch out for moose. Sometimes they would charge at your vehicle and God help you if you didn't avoid them.
That said, I've not known them to attack unless they felt threatened, so whenever there was an incident it was often because some idiot honked at a family of moose trying to cross the road, which kinda inflames the mother and makes her violent. People do get killed that way.
Although ares playing it up as some kind of victory against Mother Nature because he was driving a multi-ton truck is a bit unseemly.
