Provoking traffic offences, common outside sweden?

I don't think even he knows what he's saying any more.

The rest of us don't stand a chance.

Well, I sincerely apologize for my nativity. My English is good enough for my girlfriends family, who for the record are all Brits with higher education. It seems I was under the mistaken impression that it would be good enough for a few random blokes on the internet. I shall now revert back to, "Me spek no engles", alright?

And btw, you try writing posts on a bloody iphone. Its not that easy, trust me. I don't even know where "my" came from. My iPhone corrects "autostrada" to "billiard".

Your ability to completely miss my point amazes me. Is it intentional or does it simply come naturally to you?

Sometimes it's intentional, sometimes it comes naturally.

I work on a case by case basis to be honest.

I have learned that if you want to bring people around to your position, it's better to show your side's merits in a calm, rational way than to tell the other guys, "Fuck you, you're worthless and stupid."

And then there's TNZ... :)

As far as the OP's comments - That's quite a tall tale you've shared. Maybe it happened. Maybe it didn't. I'm inclined to think it did not. Something tells me whatever authority figure hears that kind of talk is going to deposit a billiclub up you arse.

And if you claim the coppers are as corrupt as you say they are, why did he take your bullshit in the first place? He's corrupt!

It's not even a GOOD story...

He took it and he liked it.This whole story is just an elaborate courtship dance.

I want to hear more about this family.

Are these sisters, nieces, cousins, a mix? How many are we talking here? They sound quite progressive.

Well I've learnt something from this thread.

Anyone else thinking the "one colour light, get out of the way, we're after someone else, another colour light, its you we're targeting, stop" system is a really good idea...

More countries should have that, imo.

The rest of it just smacks of Americans pointing and laughing at the funny foreigner

Like this is the first person to come on here to vent about a frustrating incident that's happened to them.

Willing to bet if he had somewhere in America in his bio he wouldn't have many condescending and patronising posts thrown his way....

Oh well, Blue lights on, get outta my way, I'm outta here! :p

He has a history of being outlandish, mostly with him coming out on top as a tough guy. This really isn't about Americans vs foreigners.

He got out of his car and yelled at a cop. What the hell does not being an American have to do with it? It's fucking retarded behavior no matter who you are.

Red lights on, I'm targeting YOU! ;)
(I think this is a brand new forum system that can make lengthy quotes obsolete you know! :p )

Oh well, I calls em as I see em, the grammar correcting was a bit much....

I believe the story happened, funnily enough, but then I've seen a LOT of those cheap police camera action type of shows to imagine the exact scenario.

Only with less of Sherrif John Burnell's ridiculously biased commentary! :p

Who knows, he might show up on "Sweden's wildest police videos!" soon! :p

Like one of the early posts suggested, in the US the cop would have probably shot him for his aggressive actions. To me it looks like ed629 has a challenger for telling tall tales. ;)

...getting out of your car and yelling at the cop before he gets out of his is a way to guarantee yourself a ride to the pokey.

Or to end up with a bullet in your spleen.

Huh, so cops in Sweden use two different colors of lights to indicate what they want the person they are behind to do? Interesting.

I was once given a warning for polishing my Porche in public.

Pretty sure that can land one on some sort of specialized registry.

Not really...If there's a cop car behind you flashing its lights, just pull over anyway. Much easier that way - always pull over for a cop, regardless of light color.

If they're after someone else, they'll ignore you and keep going. Once the cop car's ahead of you, then you can return to your driving.
