    Oh, wow that was great.
I know it wasn't much, but I really like what we saw there.
The uniform is a really nice design.
It looked like we saw some Klingon armor there, and if so I love it. I like that they appear to have kept the spine on the back.
Really looking forward to seeing more.

I don't think that was the Discovery. Maybe the Shenzhou?

I'm thinking maybe the schematics for the (pre)? Miranda type ship might be it.... Maybe?

That wireframe ship, is definitely closer to the NX-01 than the Constitution Class. I wonder if that is being fed into a station monitor on the set?

The gold piping on the shoulders seems a bit much, but it could be a flag officer, maybe? Maybe it is a field jacket, as it seems more of a coat, than a uniform. Also Operations in Blue? or maybe it is just a blue jacket?

The division delta matches the logo, so a slight cut on the right, and two tone with reflective on the right, and brushed on the left. It uses the division symbols as with the JJ Films and the original series.

The Hull colour of Discovery looks better with those stills.

If that blueprint was the bridge, it is circular and symmetrical.

Not sure about the Captain's chair, I hope it looks less plain on the set itself.

The LCARS/Computer displays seem to be in the blue tones. The set seems a little dark, but it could be just for the promo, or alert conditions etc.

There appeared to be several variations on the Discovery design on the wall. Some of them more Connie in shape. Also the wireframe ships looks a lot like the Centaur from DS9 (or the Ares from Axanar?)

If the wireframe is actually the final ship, then great.

If it's still that 70's monstrosity, no thanks.

Okay forget what I said about the shape being different in some of the pictures, it was just how low-res the version I watched was. What I realize now is that the first teaser with the ship design basically showed it from all the worst angles. Some of those images actually make it look good. Although I prefer the design of the wireframe ship (the Shenzhou?) The uniforms are cool and fit nicely with the ENT-Franklin-Kelvin-TOS lineage.

    NOICE!!!!

OH GOD! I already freakin' LOVE those new uniform designs!!!!!

Dang it! The Discovery still looks like an ugly duckling...
Weren't there rumors they re-designed that ship? I don't see anything new, except the colour of the engines (now red, originally blue), and that the shuttlebay is now open. Anyway...I might get used to it...

Somehow THIS looks a lot more modern and better! Why U not the hero ship??
Hope they transfer some of those angular lines and curves to the Discovery.

What I want to know, is WHO is being "suited up" in that uniform shot?

I think the photo spread of Discovery itself probably dates back to the original teaser video.

The uniform looks good. The emblem on it makes the logo version look like a fairly incompetent attempt at modeling and rendering.

Lovely. Although I wish the starship nacelles were more traditional - following the Phoenix, various NX ships on ENT, even the Franklin from Beyond, evoking the 60s TOS design. I'm thinking of the domed fronts, whatever colour you prefer to be swirling around inside. Even the Abramsverse got them more right, albeit with the obvious turbine workings on show. Yes, we can point to late 1970s angular designs of the Motion Picture refit... then the Excelsior through to the Stargazer. If the two Discovery era ships are older than Pike/Kirk's Enterprise, I suppose I have a hard time seeing a nacelle design change, particular the forward-end and back again.

Oh I do love the uniforms, and the bridge set looks like it's going to be a good one for the series to be based around. I hope the rest of the internal aesthetics are as good, phasers, tricorders, etc

I was almost starting to doubt the show was actually going to get made, seeing the video is a nice way to see that they are actually making real progress.

Hold everything!!! That's a blue uniform but an engineering badge!!! In honor of Gene's vision we must boycott this show for it is already a disaster.
