Primeval Series 3 (Spoilers)

Just started watching this aswell:( Not supprised its cancelled though I mean they have to pay Cowells wages somehow:rolleyes:

Damn, just damn. So these things happen across the pond as well eh? :( I wonder why Primeval couldn't be brought back? Isn't it supposed to be the biggest hit or something for ITv?

yes im looking forward to Mooshot, but that is only a one off, other than Supernatural, The Bill & Entourage, there is nothing on ITV for me anymore.
Speaking of Moonshot does anyone know what the BBC is doing to commemorate the moon landings? I think it was in today's Metro but they indicated that the Beeb were doing a few things for it.
Moon season press release.

Thanks a lot. The link, though vague on specifics other than the James May stuff was still usefull. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled once Moon Season starts.

It's not THAT popular, but it does average about 5m puts it at about their 15th(or 7th discounting multiple episodes of the same show) highest rated show.

ITVs budget is being slashed due to budget constraints due to lost advertising revenue. So they've decided to focus more on live entertainment/reality shows, over drama.

Which means ITV will be making more pap.

A show like Primeval could generate long-term income, from repeats and vid sales over the next 5-10 years.

So. All those anomalies are closing up? And will our heroes be stuck in the various pasts?

Well, now we know why all the cavemen look like Danny Quinn...

Seriously, no conclusion? That's a bit tough.

Impossible Pictures are apparently saying if the movie and spin off comes off they might try and work a resolution in some how.

well, it was a lame cliffhanger. obviously abbie and connor will find the anomaly generator, get danny to their time and then get back home shortly after.

In the words of Roger "Verbal" Kint, aw fuck! :scream:

ITV1 is going to go the way of UPN with its consistantly cruddy output of reality, commercial, and soap BS; only the moderately amusing TV Burp and excellent US import Dexter worth a damn now.

Primeval was a flawed show and ran out of steam in its last episode, but I'm sad to it go and angry to see pap like Robin Hood still trucking.

I would not bet on that, Robin Hood has worse ratings with Primeval, and given some of the forth coming cast changes, the BBC might not bothered with a 4th series.

The only good thing is that I've been holding back from getting the box sets they bring out each year with every season to date on because a new series is coming out next year. Now once a sale materialises I'll buy the Season 1-3 box set. Between this and the news from the States that The Unit (A show I watch on DVD rather than direct from TV) has also been cancelled, I'm pissed off. Oh and England going out of the 20/20 Cricket to The West Indies to.
