I'm watching it right now. Wow, things are getting downright awkward between Romney and Obama. I'm half expecting one of them to belt the other in the face.
wow, both these guys are acting like babies. Fighting over wanting the last word.

Is this your first time witnessing politics?
Is this about the Libya/terrorism thing? She admitted later that Romney was actually right.I laughed when the mod had to correct Romney. You would think that someone running for the Presidency would make sure his facts were straight beforehand.

Yeah, we get it, you think both candidates are equally terrible. You made that abundantly clear in the last debate thread. Do you have anything constructive, in-depth, or interesting to say about either candidate, or can we just expect another thread full of you whining about how everyone sucks?

I had the same concern earlier, but having heard several viewpoints on the matter, it appears it isn't quite as Mediaite (and other right wing sites) has presented it. She certainly feels that in a general sense, Romney was correct, but that he worded it vaguely enough to where it could be interpreted several ways. Even so, it doesn't take away from Obama's Rose Garden speech, which did mention the terrorism aspect of the Benghazi attack.

Feel like acting like a dick much?
I don't follow much politics myself. I watched the debate last night, and judging on the debate alone, Mitt knocked it out of the park. Obama looked pathetic in there.
I agree though, the debate won't change voters minds. Those who are set on who they will vote for. And the bickering back and forth will continue between left-wingers and right-wingers. I was reading comments on cnn.com. And yes, it continues. Which is one reason i don't follow politics. Because all both sides do, are just argue with each other, and not listen to each other. No matter who wins the election, half this country will be mad about it.
I agree that choosing a candidate to vote for and support is an important thing to many people (including myself, at times). However, IMO, I don't see much thoughtful and careful choosing involved when there are only TWO choices.. people are forced to confront the whole "lesser of two evils" bs and pretty much abandon some issues that they find important and relevant because those issues are not important in their candidate's eyes. This is unfortunate.
..and this is why, in conclusion, I should be president. Obviously.![]()
The thing is, I'm not choosing between the lesser of two evils, I'm choosing a moral and ethical good by voting for Obama.
moral and ethical = Obama????????? I don't follow politics all that closely, but those are not two words i would use to describe Obama. Socialist, yes, MORAL and ETHICAL,, no.
