Post a DIFFICULT Star Trek trivia question

Yeah I really started to get annoyed when they were using him and over using him starting with return to tomorrow. They had such an incredible stable of voice-over actors at their disposal in the 1960s and they used a lot of them -- Ted Cassidy Vic Perrin Walker edmiston Robert C Johnson Bartell LaRue...

And then you use Doohan three times in a times in a three episodes span to save how much money?

Not a trivia question but an odd bit of trivia....

I've been running through the Wild Wild West series and I got to season 4 which runs concurrent with season 3 of Star Trek 1968 - 1969 and there's an episode where there is a renowned surgeon called Dr DeForest.
Don't know if that's a coincidence but I think it's kind of cool.

What are the first words spoken by Kirk...as filmed. And the last.

What regular killed the most living creatures with a hand phaser over the course of the series?

Well doctor McCoy killed the salt vampire and a mugatu so that's my guess.
EDIT: Just realized it's a wrong guess.

I have one. Which character killed the most living creatures with a homemade Cannon?

How precise does the answer need to be - are we talking about having to scour the daily call sheets to see which scenes were filmed in what order?[/QUOTE]

This is a doozy because I don't think the hand phasers (especially in the hands of the regular cast) were used to kill (i.e. vaporise) all that often!

The obvious answer would be Kirk and the Gorn, but that didn't involve any killing either so now I'm racking my brains to think of any other homemade cannons that were built on the show!

I'm guessing here because I could look it up
First words: Annoyed Mr Spock?
Last words: If only she could be satisfied with being a woman

I was going to say Captain Tracey but reread the question.
I'm struggling to remember Kirk actually shooting anyone with a phaser and killing them. He's got Kirk-Fu.
Spocks got the neck pinch.
Scotty stabbed a few women (maybe)
Obviously none of the ladies can be trusted with a phaser.
Can't remember Chekov or Sulu killing anyone.
I'm starting to wonder whether I'm a real fan or I'm having memory lapses. Can someone give me one episode?

Okay now that other people have chimed in I will say Kirk killed the most living creatures with a phaser. He killed Gary Mitchell. He also killed a mugatu and did he kill Louise with a phaser in the episode Miri?
And I apologize for the question about the Canon because I meant that as a joke. And then the joke is on me cuz I remember the Goring didn't die.

Kirk didn't kill Mitchell with a hand phaser. It was either a rifle or a great big rock.
So is it a tie with McCoy? Do we count McCoys phaser blowing up in COTEOF?

Oh, hand phaser. well that was a very odd and specific. Since we only saw the phaser rifle in one episode. It's almost like they wanted it to be a tie. Yeah I think it's a tie and no the unconscious McCoy did not kill in city on the edge of forever. Oddly enough though I would have thought that the crew had killed a lot more people with phasers than they actually apparently did.

Stun setting!

Not counting computers or robots, I know McCoy killed the Salt Monster and a mugatu. I think that's about it.

I had McCoy in mind when I wrote the question. Hadn't thought of Kirk and Louise, so i guess it is a tie.

As for Kirk's first and last lines, isn't it:

First: "Captain's log, stardate (something) the impossible has happened!"
Last: "Oh my."

Here's one, what is the first episode of Trek in which a TOS regular neither appears or is mentioned.
