Possibility for more extended episodes?

I recently watched the extended version on 'The Measure of a Man' for the first time and started wondering, could there be more episodes in the future that have some material added?
I'd imagine there's material that ended up in the editing room floor because of time constraints, did those clips end up in a dumpster or did someone keep them, just in case?

It's hard for me to imagine TPTB releasing more extended episodes, even assuming they have the content with which to do so.

I think you've seen any extra bits in form of deleted scenes. This one was rare in that it had overran a lot AND they had the VHS copy of that cut.

While stuff is cut to make it run to time, stuff is also cut because it can make an episode better. Tighten up weak parts of the plot. Adding more back in could be detrimental to the original vision.

Also coincidentally i've still not seen the extended Measure of a Man. As I got the Blu-rays, watched the normal episode THEN saw there's the extended version and thought I'm not going to watch it again. Then forgot. Then am on another run through and have done the exact same thing and will likely forget again.

Yeah the only reason that one was made in HD was that Melinda Snodgrass still had her copy of like an original version before it got trimmed for TV and that they knew about it when they were making the Blurays. You'd need those same circumstances to get some extended versions, and that's probably never happening again. Maybe fans have taken some deleted scenes, or even bloopers, and put them into episodes themselves. I wonder if someone's tried a "The Most Toys" David Rappaport version.
