I voted "wait and see" as well. Lets see how the episode turns out. If the borg becomes to much of a storyline that it is only a cliche plot with lack of imagination, than I will be upset.

I voted; It's probably a bad idea, I've never really cared for Borg eppy's on either TNG or Voyager. I will watch and probably like some of it but I would rather they find something other than the borg.

I think it a good idea the way they are handling it. It won’t mess up Q's first contact and if you think about it even if the Borg were officially discovered because of the piece of debris from the Borg sphere it was still Q who made first contact happen. If not for him sending the Enterprise D into the delta quadrant the Borg would never have invaded Earth and the Enterprise E would never have destroyed the sphere creating debris that lands on Earth. But you guys don’t have the worry about that because B&B handled the episode well (if you read the spoilers) and it won’t mess up the time line.

I am looking forward to it!

I voted "wait and see". It's not a story I would have done, if I were in charge, but at least it seems to have been thought out with less continuity "stretching" than "Marauders"...

(If B&B wanted to mess with so many subjects/races that weren't supposed to appear until TOS or TNG, why didn't they just do a post-TNG show?)

I think that it could be good. At least it would make a certain amount of sense for part of the Borg ship from First Contact to make it to Earth. It could prove to be an almost scary episode, for a Borg episode.

This has to be the worst idea I've ever heard.

I hate the idea. I hope to high heaven it NEVER happens. B&B need to focus on encountering species from the Pike/Kirk era and leave the overhyped and overused TNG races in their own time frame. Most of them are in areas of the galaxy no human spaceship is even REMOTELY close to exploring,anyways.
