POLL: Favorite Episode

where'sSaavik?

Ok, so it's not the most creative idea for a poll. But I did include every episode since last time I got yelled at for missing some that I couldn't conceive anyone could like. So, here you go. If you really want to vote for "A Night in Sickbay" or "Precious Cargo," be my guest.

:p

And Broken Bow it is.

Nice mix of action with even character development for all the main characters.

"Minefield"

Best episode thus far. A smartly written use of the Romulans. Genuine character conflict and a resolution that's earned. Good action, actual suspense, and great performances from both Bakula and Keating. All the other characters are used well, even Mayweather. Definitely the best. :D

I considered voting for The Seventh, but I saw Carbon Creek again and realized how sweet an episode it was, so out of character for Star Trek in general. I gave it my vote.

Cheers

Alex

"Cease Fire" for its interaction between T'Pol and Soval, Archer's portrayal of the captain I want him to be, and most of all the return of Jeffrey Combs and Suzie Plakson (two of my favorites).

I'll probably get yelled at, but I went with "The Expanse". It was an ambitious ep, w/ a lot going on in it (probably too much) and honestly, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was happy to see ENT return to Earth (finally), the Vulcan video was a highlight, Duras getting his ass kicked was cool, and finally, the frenetic camera movement at the end was a nice touch. Second choice would've been Broken Bow.

Dead Stop. It was an excellent episode which held my attention all of the way through it.

i was about to vote for cogentiro, then i remembered that it had some funny moments and some emotional moments, but it hadn't really been THAT interesting while i was watching it.... so i voted for future tense (although the "swapping chromosomes" comment ALMOST made it lose my vote... ) because it kept me interested teh whole way, included all teh cahracters (yes, even travis... well, ok, it was a big role for HIM... :p) and had interesting plot twists and suspense :) a great ep if i do say so myself.... :)

"Bounty"

I only saw it once. It was well written, acted and executed. It has been the only episode where I haven't gone "huh" at some point or another.

Minefield.

 I shouldn't do two, but oh well.

The Expanse. I'll take that one back if season 3 is a stinker.

I voted for Broken Bow, but I should have voted for Carbon Creek. It is the only Ent episode that I like it was the only one that felt fresh and new to me. Heck, if they made this the premise of the series, it would have been bold.

"Silent Enemy".

I can't really put my finger on why, but this episode embodies what Enterprise as a series could be for me. It shows that not everything can be taken for granted. I really liked watching the crew installing the weapons, and testing them. I also liked how they handled the overload in the final battle. The aliens themselves where quite creepy (I'm a sucker for creepy aliens), and their battle with Enterprise was very nicely done. The subplot with Malcolm and Hoshi was decent, except that Hoshi should have been at her post... any crewman could do that job. Since when did it become Hoshi's job to run bland errands all the time?

Shuttlepod One continues to get my vote. Just loved Trinneer and Keating's work in this ep. :) Such a natural, understated chemistry.

Carbon Creek was quite the underrated gem, though. Ceasefire and Cogenitor come close to the top spot.

Expanse was good, but there was something different about that episode that I just cant put my finger on. The battle scenes just seem more "realistic" than any other ST battle sequence (save for the high budget ones).

I voted for Shuttlepod One - it was two great performances from Conner and Dominic and it was a classic throw two characters' together so they can become friends ep.

I felt it was funny, well told and moving story which gave us some insight into the two characters. In short it had elements of everything Trek should be.

Loved it.
