Makes me wonder if they're going to canonize Robert April though. It doesn't really matter either way, but ff the writers are said to be aware of some fandom elements, they might mention him briefly in passing somewhere as an Admiral April or something...

Cruise was also in Young Guns for about five seconds as a gunman who gets blown away in the final action sequence.

Supposedly he's going to do a cameo in Tropic Thunder.
