He's a great guy, but doesn't he have any other shirts? He was wearing that same shirt (or one very much like it) at Polaris and Dragon*Con, too. (Or was this taken at Dragon*Con? I couldn't get into the BSG party - my bf and I went by the room, but there was a huuuuuuge line to get in, so we went to another party instead.)
Yeah I got into the COlonial Fleet Party but I was lucky. I had friends who couldn't get in and got really angry.
I think he just really digs that shirt...and like I said I can't say enough nice things about the guy (and the fact that he's a fantastic actor doesn't hurt at all).

Not as pricey as you think I'm making the day uniform for Raven Shayde. I just need to buy suede for the shoulders. The materials not exactly screen accurate but minus suede racked up less than a tenner so far for 90% accurate.
The pattern was easy to manufacture too - especially as it's only a few tweaks away from my custom/Year One concept:
Edit: After checking out that link - I went to that forum to see if they had any hi-res detail shots. And they did, quite good ones too!

You can buy them at scifihero.net or buy a kit to make your own (or buy the dress blues but those are pricey $$)

Which is why I'm not too concerned, as long as I get it to look like almost right, it works.
The only thing that bugged me was getting the day/officers uniform material. The stuff I've got it a bit heavier and has a different texture, but the colours right. The pic posted was an SKR test copy so I have a better idea of what I'm doing with the BSG one.
I'll be putting details up in my workshop blog when I get started as I know a lot of people who have been trying to make them. Though... day uniform comes first. I'm cheating with the BDU's and altering a set instead of starting from scratch.
