It's OK, I see them now. Maybe it was just hysterical blindness from seeing all that squigster flesh.
Well today we went on a little detour while cousin was driving home anyways. We went to see one of the first Camaro's in Sweden. Here follows a photographing depiction of these events.
A stretch of the E18 highway going down to Stockholm from Norrtälje. Great big open road a bit of the way and I've probably been on it thousands of times by now.
We arrived at the dealership after passing trough Stockholm where I was quite taken aback...
...by this stunning machine. A brand new Chevrolet Camaro SS (V8), manual, in Inferno Orange Metallic. Not my favorite paintjob but I didn't care. The car in itself is fantastic.
So naturally bro and I began checking it out.
It's just stunning from all angles! And yes those wheels look big, but they actually don't look that big in real life when paired with the car.
A nice secretary had pity on us and opened it up, and the real fun began.
I reeeally like the interior. That shifter just fit perfectly in my hands and the wheel while quite chunky was extremly comfortable.
Bro looking for the USB and Aux port.
We decided to close it and feel how it REALLY felt to sit in. And let me tell, it's pretty snug for a guy my size, but still plenty of room to move about, could probably move the seat forward a bit (the seats are supremly comfortable btw).
Only thing I had a problem with was the roof height, seeing as the sunroof was installed on this one and that caused me to scuff the roof with the top of my head. Luckily there's extra room in the cabin if you get it without the sunroof, and I don't want it anyway.
Bro did try and sit in the backseat but unfortunately we don't have a pic of that. He looked...let's say VERY firmly in place back there. We tried to put the seat back when he was in there, and succeded, but the room in front of him when his legs touched the seatback was barely enough for a very small person.
Oh and the visibility would seem like it's claustrofic, and yes while it's not quite as airy as the Passat wagon we got there in, it's still very managable and while there are some bling spots the mirrors take care of it. Plus it's a small price to pay for this amount of style.
See that guy right there? That's a VERY happy guy! Unfortunately he's a very broad guy as well, but taking care of that.
We had to get going after a bit, but all in all it was a very succesful trip to the dealership as evidenced by bros and especially my smile in this pic right here. I am definetly going to get this car at some point. If I can afford an SS that will be it, but if I can only afford an LT (V6) and is happy with the power in that one (which it seems I might be) it will okay with be since the differences on the exterior isn't really that huge and as long as I get the 2LT I get that FANTASTIC leather interior...

^ Well I love that color... and that car ROCKS. Wow. That suckers is beautiful.
