Adorable! And any kid who dons a Darth Vader mask and swings a toy lightsaber shows great promise. A prodigy in the making.

You've got future leaders of society there, Saturn.

^ You have beautiful kids, Saturn. Truly a very lucky guy and good to see you're setting a fine health example for them. :)

Up close, it's just a flower. But, it's actually from a flowering cactus called "Yellow Crown of Thorns."

A very easy to grow cactus that flowers for a good healthy 4-5 months each year. It can be grown potted indoors or planted outside in temperate regions.

Speaking of pics, I'm digging the new avatar Gary.

I think your Photoshop proves once and for all that Patrick Stewart(and possibly other TNG actors as well)would have looked damn good in TOS pilot shirts. The pilot uniforms have always been a favorite of mine for their basic simplicity, yet they got the job done of conferring that these are 23rd century space uniforms.

How about Mr. Met throwing himself in front of a bus?

Isn't that something all Mets fans have contemplated at one time or another?

Can't blame 'em really.

(*Runs like hell*)

Got a short reprieve before the all star game this year. Now the wheels are falling off.

Nothing has been the same since Game 2 of the 2006 NLCS when So F)(*&^%$#ing Taguchi hit the game winning homer while I was in the men's room at Shea taking a piss.

Love all the photos from the past week! Kommander, your chain work is stunning, and I especially love the jewellery.

After months of unbelievably blah weather we're finally seeing the sun in England. The up side of all the rain we've had is that the garden looks better than it ever has. I've been wanting to take photos for weeks, but it was always too gloomy, even when it wasn't raining. This afternoon, though, the light seemed perfect, so I played around with the new-to-us camera we purchased recently.

Actually, at this very moment it smells like several neighbours' BBQs. ;) Most of the roses do have a lovely scent, though, as does the honeysuckle. It was such a treat to finally spend most of the day in a sunny garden after so many months of rain and cold.

I guess if nothing else, you've gotta give it to British weather.

It's not an exaggeration. :)
