Something a little out of the ordinary happen over this last weekend...
Part of the reason (really, most of the reason) that I haven't posted images to this thread very often was because there aren't many images of me. I generally don't like being photographed, and I've been able to avoid being photographed over the last year and a half by being the person with the camera at my school. But last Saturday I forgot the school's camera and someone else took photos of our group at a ropes course... and I was, surprisingly, in quite a few of them.
So here is a bunch of pictures of me (with my students and fellow staff members)...
And the reason why I haven't posted much around here in general is that the school has kept me quite busy.

Let me be straightforward with you: You've had the avatar for so long, that I figured you looked like Carl from UP.

The reason I keep using that avatar is that it reminds me of my father (who died back in 2006). He looked like (and more importantly, acted like) Carl, so it is special for me because of that. But my wife thought that my previous avatar was a better representation of my personality...

Well, I like them both, I love the movie UP!, and I think it's very sweet why you have that avatar.
Plus, UP! is the only movie to ever make me cry in the first ten minutes.
Well, except for Ishtar, but that was for wholly different reasons.
UP has the best first ten minutes of any film in the last five years...well, with the exception of J.J.'s STAR TREK of course.

You got a stadium craze like I got my national park craze, 23 and counting.
I've seen 14 so far. That's not quite halfway. I plan to see all of them, but it'll take awhile.
Yeah, forgot about that. Old ones that aren't used anymore...Metrodome, Shea, old Yankee Stadium. So that makes 17.
I don't follow professional baseball all that closely, but does Toronto still have a home stadium? If so, have you been there?

For reference, here's a photo of Zeina and I (with her younger sister) back in 1985 (I think), which up until last year when she came to town was the last time I'd seen her!:
