Is that second photo supposed to be a Dalek playset or something...kind of like the Micro Machines line of toys? If so, it must be at least a few years old because that looks like an animation of Tom Baker in the doors of the Tardis.

That is pretty much exactly what it is. The first pic is of the playset closed, the second is it open. Not only does it have Tom Baker as the Doctor but up top it has Davros. I have had it for a dozen or so years.

I love the mini-Daleks!!

even though winter has only just begun, there is already movement in my (proto-)rooftop garden-to-be...

They are winter-blooming plants, so they should be fine, but still - this is very early, I hope they'll survive...

Tom, that's a seriously impressive model railway! My husband and younger son are trainspotters, and I've always liked trains as well. My husband takes good train photos but mostly uses a film camera. I need to nag him to take more digital photos so I can post some.

Auntie Hill, I seriously love that plushie!

Awww how cute.

My wife surprised me with this outing, I knew we were going but didn't really pay it any mind. I'm not really a model train guy, in fact I find them boring. With saying that, I don't want to oversell but it was seriously great. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone in the NYC area to check it out. I don't think my pics do it justice, I would return and see it again.

We've had a very strange winter here, thus far: lots of warm days interrupted by a very few bitterly cold snaps. I noticed this morning that my crocus, daffodils and iris are starting to poke up out of the ground. Not good, since we surely have snow and lots of cold weather yet to come. :borg:

I have to quell the desire to say "No! No! Get back in the ground where it's safe and warm, little sprout!"

^ I agree!

We haven't actually had frost yet this winter (or nothing major), so if it suddenly starts now they could die. :-/

If you look closely, the blurry white stumpies in the back are also sprouts. I think there are 5-6 already sprouting...

I got a lot of adorable pictures of my nephew over Christmas, but this has to be my favorite:

LiamChristmasStory.jpg

This lamp looks like a miniature of the lamp from A Christmas Story. Great picture.

It is a miniature of that lamp...that's why it's a Christmas decoration! :p Actually, I bought that lamp for my brother-in-law a few years ago for a Xmas present because that's his favorite holiday movie.

Here is a picture of me meeting my adorable second cousin for the first time.

Her name is Delany Rain.

photo1.jpg

Three things, in no particular order:

- Delany is d'awwwww

- She has a way cool name as well

- Satyrquaze, are you completely 100% sure you are not, in fact, Sheldon Cooper? :D

^Hehe

I usally get more of a passing comparison to Moby, than Sheldon.

Sheldon has more hair, is marginally more obessive, and slightly more OCD than I am.
