Looks like the same Tardis model/toy that Craig Ferguson has on his desk on his CBS late-night show. Congrats! Looks awesome! :bolian:

Thank you! I was very pleased. Not only did I get a soft, cuddly Bloo doll, but I have a Tardis (with lights and sounds, mind you  ) for him to travel in. I'm such a goob. ;)

Oh, God! We're doomed! Its the Lego ninja robots!

That's ninja Daleks. Please properly identify the instruments of our inevitable doom.

Ninja Daleks.

They exterminate with the silence of the wind and roll off into the darkness...impossible to track.

I soooooooooooo want one of those lamps! My mom and dad would have loved one! :D I'm gonna check the online stores and eBay to see if I can score one cheap!

IIRC, my aunt picked up my dad's down in Branson. Just don't know which store. D'oh.

Went to the Holiday Train Show at the NY Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. My sons both love trains, thought this would be a no-brainer. Of course, I was correct, they both loved it. There was a 20 minute show with Thomas the Train, where everyone sang along to the songs and got to take a picture with Thomas. Then we visited the Train show, which honestly I thought would suck but in fact it did not, it was actually kind of awesome. I would highly recommend anyone in the NYC area to check it out if you love trains or have kids who do. Here are 15 of over 300 pics I took at the train show.

I've seen some pretty good model train displays over the years, but that one looks down right impressive.

Wow, I grew up in the NY metro area and went to the botanical gardens often. It's a great place, other than the one time my parents suggested I smell a paricularly fragrant flower and I ended up sneezing for 3 days straight. I need to find an excuse to go. I'm a train lover.
