That's great, is that the new toadstool your son bought you?

Yes, I have plced in into one of the back garden bed. I am not sure if it is ging to stay there or if I will move it down to one of the other flower beds.

Here is what the garden looks like now.

I wish I had bought some brighter coloured pots. I might move these to one of the other gardens (once the gardens are ready for them) and buy some glazed pots similar to these

Miss Chicken looks a bit like my mom's Jezebel, if Jezebel would go on a diet (we call her Jezebulge, Jezebelly, Jezabaluga, etc). Also, why do cats do this?...

I've been doing puzzles during my holiday vacation:

I don't have that problem because the real Miss Chicken knows she isn't allowed on the table and doesn't try to get on the table if we are home.

However, a couple of times I have caught her trying to get down from the table when I have arrived home. She obviously missed seeing me as I walked down the drive and only realised I was home when she heard the key in the door which hasn't left her enough time to get down. I growl at her and she usually goes and hides. I am quite certain she gets up on the table as soon as I leave and feels smug about it.

They're like what's that, you're working on something that is capturing your attention? I'm going to sit on it but act really nonchalant like it just happens to also be the most comfortable place in the room.

Comet tries really hard to be part of any puzzle activities and when we shoo him away he grabs a piece or two in his mouth and runs off, as if he is going to go play puzzle by himself.

that cat's totally saying: "what? oh? i'm in the way? TOUGH!"

Shade used to sit on the paper when i was sitting on the floor reading it.

One of my cats will use her paws to knock items off the coffee table and wake me up. Usually because they want to be fed, but sometimes for little more reason than they want attention like a spoiled child. When the sound of a remote control or loose change bowl hitting the floor jars me awake she's just sitting there staring at me with those little green eyes going:

"Yeah. I did that. Got something to say? Now get your ass up and feed or play with me, stupid human!"

When they lay on the puzzle is annoying but safe. When they start solving it... now it's time to worry.

Rise of the Planet of the Cats?

I'm sure they could if they wanted to, but doing nothing is so much more comfortable! :D

Don't feel to bad. In college my roommate's cat would lay on anything we had in front of us, just so he could be the center of attention.

One time, we had ordered a pizza and it was PIPING hot when it was delivered. We left the box open so it would cool down while we got drinks from the fridge. When we came back no more than two minutes later, the cat was literally sprawled out on the hot pizza like it was nothing.

He just looked at us like "what's your problem?"

:guffaw: Oh, that's amazing!

When my kitty was younger (and still alive), he would crawl in/on everything. This one time, he went into a pot and would not come out.

Even threatening to make a stew of him did not work...

Eventually we had to put it in the sink and start running water on him and in the pot. That worked but it was one pissed off feline...

I love how you can barely see one of his eyes peeking out from the shadows beneath the pot lid. Great photo!

He had to make sure we were still paying attention to him, of course. It's only fun if someone is watching. ;)

It all started on day 1

Yes, that is a big-ass very poisonous cactus-like plant with two tiny kitties.
