PICTURE POST!

Eddie, your collection makes my yarn stash look contained, and I thank you for that. ;)

Love all the photos from the past few days, especially yours, Squiggs. The downside is that thanks to the Carpenters album cover comment I now have Close To You stuck in my head. If this continues I may have to throw myself on my knitting needles. :(

A couple of family pix.

I know, I know, I know. (*Sigh*)

Minor technical issues. But at least I got them posted, even if you have to click on the links.

I don't post many pictures on the boards...I never have. Can you tell?

Thanks, man. :techman: I put a lot of work into trying to organize and display things in a halfway-civilized manner. I don't have a whole lot of spare room to work with so I sometimes have to cram things inside drawers and into nooks and crannies. But what you see is part of 13 years' worth of effort. It's what you DON'T see(or haven't yet)that is even more impressive. I have hundreds and hundreds of loose figures in storage cases and drawers. I can't possibly display it all, in part because my dog would have a field day chewing and gnawing on some of it.

I have a bunch of STAR TREK figures, models and figurines as well. I just haven't taken any pictures of them yet. I have the entire line of 3-3/4" action figures produced in 1979 for TMP. They're all loose and were removed from their original packages when I was five, but I have all of them...in addition to die-cast ships from the first three movies and a line of non-poseable Hallmark figurines that came out when GENERATIONS was in theaters in 1994. There's some other stuff, too. Lots of books. Several dozen TV GUIDEs with TREK covers. That kind of thing.

I know. :) I'm not that sensitive.

But I wanted to list some of my TREK stuff in case some of you were wondering: "Where is all his Star Trek shit? I thought he was a big fan?" I'll take pictures of my TREK stash soon. You guys would get a big kick out of seeing my stacks of TV GUIDEs with TREK covers. They date all the way back to 1991 and I think I have between 30 and 40 altogether unless my memory is way off.

Thank you.

Now you all can be blinded by the bright, gaudy tackiness of my collection without the hassle of clicking on a link. I suggest wearing smoked goggles. Your eyes will thank you years from now.

Whenever my wife complains that my comic book collection takes up too much space I'm going to refer her to your pictures eddie.
