You need to make the effort. There are half a dozen museums there and you could easily spend two days in each one. When I lived in DC I spent many a weekend there.

This is what the Enterprise looked like in the Air and Space Museum back in the 90's. Forgive the crappy picture, back then we used what we called "film".
