Rory is five months old now!

Way too frickin' cute. One day I might get a new cat, but I have a feeling my current cat would try to eat it.

We did get another cat, but our old cat chased her away.

I had a super busy weekend. Friday night I went to Genghis Cohen in Hollywood and saw/heard my friend Jules Day perform some more great jazz songs - both original songs she herself wrote and classic standards.

Then on Sunday night, I went to a screening of the Spielberg film "1941" put on and hosted by LalaLand Records to coincide with their re-release of the expanded film score soundtrack album. At the reception afterward, I got to meet a few neat people also:

Last minute solution to Mafia themed party outfit. The violin case and Colt M1911 replica in shoulder holster is not present.

I approve of the suit. Not so much the glasses though. Also, i hope bubbles come out of that pipe. Overall ... how you doin'?

Suit is a bit too large, needs some adjustments on the sides and under your armpits. At least, move the buttons so it hugs your figure a bit more. Also, the sleeves are too long.

And remember, "mafioso" in Sicilian literally means "cool, swagging, handsome".

Quite fine, thank you. And i skipped the glasses. The pipe is real and belonged to my grandfather.

Ok, I lied. I just can't help myself. I took this one last summer while visiting my family on the east coast. It's my daughter with my father and nephew. I can't believe she's gotten so big since then!
