All hail the Science fiction collection King.
I give you a Teal'c bow.

Indeed.

Ha! My collection is actually rather puny compared to some others I've seen.

Y'know, i should put up some pictures of my fleet. I've never been big on action figures and that sort of collectible stuff, but i do love me some die-cast and plastic starships. I have all the Enterprises. Enterprii? Anyway, a lot of money went to evil-bay there.

Since it's been awhile, i thought I'd post a quick one from our recent Panama Canal cruise. This is The Hubby and me with the Gatun Locks in the background after having passed through (on the Caribbean Sea side.)

More to come once I sort through all the pic's.

No martinis in your hands? :(

They followed shortly after. Believe me, there were LOTS and LOTS of martinis drunk on this trip. :p

Timby -- that's a great photo of you and your dad. My condolences to you and your family.

This is me, hanging out with a couple of good looking people...

This is awesome :) Can you clone me next? :D I'll need:
one for housework
one for shopping and errands
one for each kid so I can stop having to tell one to be quiet while the other talks
one to be the perfect daughter for my mom
one to be the perfect daughter in law my MIL wants
and one to help me manage my email and business
Original me will either be in Las Vegas or hanging out nekkid with my husband.

Since I'm a newbie around these parts (but certainly not in the Trek Universe ;) ) I don't really know the story, but what compelled you to leave if you don't mind my asking?

Also, your children are beautiful (and you're gorgeous! I can't believe you're a mom of six!!) Awww ginger kids!! Sorry, I have a special fondness for us gingers :D

I have a special fondness for redheads too. ;) *points to picture of husband*

Thank you! :D

I try to leave because I spend way, way too much time here. LOL It's not conducive to living real life. So I take a hiatus for a while and find myself slowly being reintegrated back into the trekbbs collective. *sigh* I know I should stop trying... but I just can't seem to give up the idea that I might someday be fully free of the pull from this place. :vulcan:

I know, I know... why deny the geek within? :p

I've done, and tried to do the same! After college and before I met my husband I worked, but otherwise was free to indulge in all my nerdy Trekkie stuff. Then, the relationship took center stage, work got more involved, we got married, we moved...kids came along (Only two for me. You, my dear, are a saint.) Twelve years gone by in a blink and now that my kids are both in gradeschool all day I have looked around, and noticed I finally have a BIT more free time on my hands and what happens? I get sucked back into my Trek hobby. :)

Good, my faith in you has been restored. :p

I'm stunned by OdoWan's collection. And I thought I was bad with my ever-growing collection of American Girl dolls...

If I had the money, I'd buy the Robert Tonner Doctor Who and Torchwood dolls (Ten, Martha Jones, Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper). They're about $200 each, though, and I think Ten sold out fast. Lots of fangirls probably wanted their own little David Tennant to play with. :p

Pics from my mom's garden- peonies and roses.
