^You know when she's old enough to date, she's going to kill you...

well, my parents hooked up the vcr to the 42" flatsceen and played a video of me bathing as a two year old on my 18th birthday. in front of pretty much everyone i invited. you really cant sink lower. this year i simply hid the vcr....

I guess I am fortunate that my family moved around so much when I was in my teen years. Any pictures or video taken before the digital camera age are buried deep in a box somewhere, very likely to never see the light of day again. So the person I'm dating will never see them.

Speaking of that person, here she is with me at the Berkeley marina yesterday (how's that for a segue!)

It rained this morning, and I took a picture:

Wonderful picture! I love the glistening water in the street, and the differences in light and texture (dark foreground vs bright sky, structured plastic parts vs smooth water surface, clear inside vs blurred droplets outside).

Thank you! I had to take a picture for that very reason. I love rainy pictures.

Did I mention I also have full 1080p video camera?

Funny - I never tried a rainy pic in all my life. But I guess my 2 week vacation in GB will offer me plenty of opportunities to make up for this omission ;)

You guys look good together. I hope you have many happy years.

^Seconded! I miss having to pick up the kitchen/den/pick-any-room-you-wish after a little peanut - how utterly adorable *SEEKER!*

^ God yes. That little girl is truly the most adorable thing on the planet. My favorite pic so far would have to be the one Orion Slave Girl took of the baby in the tub, painting. That pic is just PERFECT!

will be able to control the world. What is it, anyway?"

Have fun! I remember telling a friend that I was excited about the prospect of visiting Britain someday, and how I looked forward to the climate. She replied, "but it's usually overcast and rainy in Britain", and I said "I know, I'm looking forward to it!" :D

Ah, cute babies! I have to show off my niece and nephew! ...can't.... resist... showing off... niece...and nephew....!
