That's so great you're introducing her to "I Love Lucy". This is the best time. Getting up to 7-8 years old, kids start to get pulled in by the high tech cartoons and all this vintage stuff begins to look really old in comparison--hard to get them to give it a try. But if you get them exposed early, they can appreciate it.

My wife was indeed a teacher, and yes, our house is very child-centric. I'm always impressed with the creative stuff my wife comes up with for my daughter.
