It WAS real good. the potatoes right out of the slow cooker will absorb white vinegar and it gives them a nice tang.

Nope, math conference. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of free time to explore the city, but a lot of business dinners mean I at least get to explore restaurants that are way out of my usual price range!
Going for the logical Vulcan look....at least as much of one as I can get while wearing a ball cap.

My wife and I got our 1 year anniversary cake from the bakery today. Instead of having us freeze the top tier of the cake, they make us a brand new one for our anniversary. We didn't get to eat much of it at the wedding (or any of the food for that matter) and my wife just wanted to bite into it...so that's what we did. It's small, but very rich, (buttercream frosting with red velvet and cream cheese) so we'll have plenty to enjoy for the next few days.
I want that cap!
