Picard Season 3 Teaser Trailer

https://trekmovie.com/2022/09/14/in...-rikers-roles-more-star-trek-picard-season-3/

Beverly's ship is in the trailer, Titan is more maneuverable with its impulse engines, and the saucer design is more stable than the elongated ovals and arrows... ;)

Nice interview.

Also seems like Matalas and I share the comparison to car design re: Titan A and it is the idea that the designers are looking back to a golden era for ship aesthetic as you do find with car designers these days

Terry Matalas implied in a subsequent tweet that the person had appeared on 12 Monkeys. I assume he is referring to the TV series, not the movie, since he was also the showrunner for that series! :)

Take a look at the trailer during the "I can't ask you to put yourself in danger" line frame by frame... someone is standing next to the captain's chair... command uniform... could help narrow down the possibilities...

Hmm, the hair colour matches, and the facial hair pattern.

IMDB reports a stunt double for Todd Stashwick in episode 3x03... maybe the scene in the trailer is him being injured / killed in that episode

Terry said he had a big part. I guess he could do a lot of things in a couple episodes he's in

Trek Central has an interesting article about how this actors role will
That he's the captain in command of the Titan and that seven is his first officer
be in season 3.That's one of the rumors they mention right now.

It looks like they’ve just ripped their info straight off this forum tbh, the article appeared literally within hours of the above discussion.

Something I don't believe was ever pointed out in this thread...

Dorn/Worf's voice does not sound artificially deepened via computer trickery like it was for Nemesis.

Possible in-universe explanation: Worf's second puberty in Insurrection triggered a voice-deepening that wasn't yet noticeable during that movie, but then lasted at least through the duration of the following movie, and the effects wore off some time after that. It was a bit slower of a process than, say, Geordi's eyes. So now twenty-something years later, Worf's voice sounds more normal again.

Makes sense, right? :klingon:
